Stopped to try out the red tacos for the first time. Ordered red tacos with bistek meat. The meat was not fresh, the bistek tasted like brisket and had the texture of barbacoa. It was served with charro beans which did not have much flavor. Tacos came with fried potato slices and lettuce that had seen better days. I was expecting tacos with cilantro and onions. I was only able to eat one taco out of five. The tacos were also cold.

Food was good, place was clean and cashier/server did ok. I did enjoy the fact that their menu doubled in size, so more choices is always great. The thing I can’t get over yet is that while the food is decent I feel it is priced a bit too high. Most of those dishes should be running a bit lower to where if you get a drink, you’ll be hitting the $10 mark. So no, I do not believe the food is worth the expense which is one of the reasons I don’t frequent it personally. Again, personal experience, folks really seem to like it so I’m sure it will stay alive. There are just other places with way better service and much tastier food charging the same as here.

Quality of the tostadas where awful. The meat was special on Wednesday if I buy without meat cost the same and if I tell them meat or chicken has no flavor just blend and hardly any beans, just a smear in the center. That’s the number 1 reason I love tostadas. Thanks to this don’t care for it. I love potatoes cooked perfectly but I didn’t or couldn’t eat but 1 of them. Gave meat to my dog, but everything went into the trash. Not worth the money

love this place but the one in mission this location is the worst food wasn’t hot, had barely fried potatos and was missing cebolla asada and lemons had to ask for them. also the bake potato was really small for the price. and the meat had chunks of nerves. bad.
