Newer Mexican restaurant so gave it a try. Started with some drinks which were good and strong. Asked for a spicy margarita (not on the menu) and the waitress was more than happy to oblige.

We thoroughly enjoyed our dinner at 1001 Mexican Restaurant! The food was amazing and Greg, the GM was really welcoming. And, he mixed up some really tasty craft cocktails! We will definitely be back and look forward to their official grand opening!

I struggled to decide if this place was a 3 or 4 star. The rice was hard and the tacos were a bit dry. I didn’t like the sauce it came with. The free chips came with Mariana sauce instead of salsa. HOWEVER, the nachos were yummy and had a great amount of toppings. The CHURROS were the highlight of this place. They were crunchy on the outside, soft on the inside and served with vanilla ice cream, chocolate sauce, and raspberry sauce. I would come back for the churros alone. The drinks were also really tasteful and crafted well. Service was considerate and friendly.

What a gem! Our group of eight ladies descended without warning into this charming little restaurant/bar with a lovely outdoor seating area as well. I started with a cocktail, from a surprisingly sofisticated menu, choosing the “surprise me” option…the bartender created for me a combination mojito/Margherita, with the addition of fresh Meyer lemon and a dash of jalapeño honey. Magic in a glass and perfect for a hot and humid afternoon! I asked for some fresh guacamole with their homemade tortilla chips. It was all very good! For my entree, I decided on the whole fried red snapper, which came on a giant wooden cutting board wirh a side salad and spicy dressing, delicious rice flavored with lime and French fries. The fish was expertly prepared, moist, flakey and perfectly seasoned. One of the best meals out in quite a while. Our waitress was very helpful and pleasant and very attentive. I highly recommend this restaurant!!

Quantity of the food received is well below the cost paid. To put it in to perspective, you receive a baby scoop of guacamole for $10- and its not even table side. The rest of the food tastes mediocre at best. In all honesty, if you want Mexican food that tastes better and cheaper… go a .10 of a mile down and eat guilt free without feeling like you wasted money. The Atmosphere is lackluster and so is the management and staff. It’s Not worth the time or money.

Very disappointed. I just ordered here for the first time and I couldn’t be more displeased with their product. I ordered a steak burrito through DoorDash. It says it was supposed to come with lettuce, sour cream, guacamole, rice, and beans. I asked for black beans and got refried beans. There is no lettuce, sour cream, or guacamole. What it did come with was 90% white rice and minimal protein. It also took over an hour to get to me. 45 of those minutes was them “preparing the order” after they confirmed they received it. Not a great first impression. Flavor is fine compared to other places around here which is why I gave it 2 stars but messing up this badly on such a simple order makes me question this business’s ability to do what they advertise.

Ordered a burrito togo and sat at the bar while it was made. I ordered a margarita and then another tequila based creation (can’t remember the name) and both were amazing. The bartender was soooo nice and very thoughtful with his drink making. The food is very fresh. Excited to go back and try more things!!
