101 restaurant and bar is wonderful. Great food and drinks next to the swimming pool. Bartender was very friendly and helpful about suggesting dishes and promotional food deals. Split 40 oz ribeye steak meal with girlfriend and was extremely delicious.

I am staying at the Holiday Inn in Pittsfield and decided to get some dinner from 101 Restaurant and Bar. I’m glad I did because it was a great experience. They had live music too! The waitress was very attentive and the food was delicious. I ordered some wine and fish and chips and it was absolutely delicious!

A hotel restaurant with excellent food. The pecan crusted catfish was perfectly cooked and seasoned. The bartenders at the bar are great and made me an off menu drink without hesitation based on what I told them I usually like. Prices are very reasonable especially given the quality of the food.

The restaurants decor is lovely and the servers are friendly. My husband ordered the chicken sandwich and the meat was so thick and undercooked. When he bit into the sandwich I saw pink juices come out of the chicken. It was still raw!!! Once my husband alerted the server, he began to make every excuse for the pink color of juices. Granted the slaw on the sandwich was red, I watched the chicken ooze pink juices. My husband was mortified by the texture and temperature of the chicken so it wasn’t just the fact that the juices came out pink. The server said he can guarantee the chicken is not undercooked, which makes no sense because he didn’t cook it nor did he eat it. It just seemed defensive and there was no reason for that. My husband told him he did not want a replacement and that he understands it was no fault of the server. The server took the plate and came back with our bill immediately. Then we notice the chicken sandwich is still on the bill!!!!! So my husband goes and asks why he is still being charged for the sandwich and he was told they can’t take it off because the sandwich wasn’t uncooked. The best they could do was give half off the sandwich. We didn’t have time or energy to argue so we paid and left. Not to mention my daughters chicken tenders were tough and just not appetizing. I really think the restaurant was having a “bad chicken” day. Idk. We left so upset and had to get food from somewhere else. The bartender was sweet and bubbly and she was the highlight to a very bad dining experience.

Came here for anniversary dinner since the restaurant down the street was unexpectedly closed, and boy am I glad we ended here instead!! We got invited up to the bar counter since the night wasn’t too busy and got to talk to and enjoy the bartender’s, Craig’s, presence. Craig had an extra treat made for us on the house, which was so nice!! The food was delicious and the drinks were wonderful. Ended up staying till closing and having an amazing time. I would love to come back and visit here as soon as possible!!!

How is this place not packed for dinner every night? Outstanding food for the price. Fantastic drinks, and stand out food. Disregard the hotel restaurant stigma. It is absolutely worth the stop.

Everything was great… but the salads. For a Caesar I got leaves off a stalk with 2 croutons and extremely little parmigiana. The squash salad was a small portion that looked like it was going to take me on a culinary adventure but did not. I understand the everyone experiments with the presentation but I’m honestly disappointed.

Food is southern-style which is refreshing since it’s the first & only restaurant of it’s kind in the area. I’ve been numerous times & still can’t decide what my favorite meal is but the Mac & Cheese, Top Sirloin, Burgers & Pork Tacos are 5 star worthy… best tasting fries in the city too! Drinks are always perfectly balanced & if you’re lucky enough to have Shonda as your bartender, you’ll definitely have an memorable experience. They also have many Gluten-Free options & the owners/managers are great people… Great place to spend a few hours meeting new people, enjoying delicious food & drinks.
