My husband and I are visitors and we will be in Charleston until July. I have to say that this restaurant is a gem in town!!!! The food and desserts were phenomenal! The service was excellent. We will go back there again before we leave.

Went to celebrate our 31st wedding anniversary. The food was very good. We started with the bacon wrapped dates which were very tasty. I had the venison tenderloin which was delicious. My wife had the salmon which was also very good.

Best food in the state. Food and drinks are always served quickly by great staff. Menu has a good variety of flavorful food well beyond the fare served elsewhere. Prices are extremely reasonable considering the food and service quality, would easily run for twice as much in other states. I appreciate this restaurant so much I take my family here once a week and have greatly lessened going out to eat at other restaurants.

We celebrated my husbands retirement dinner here, I chose this place amongst others because of the award winning chef. The service and food were average. The atmosphere felt like red lobster, not really anything fancy in an extremely small building. We really enjoyed the calamari (although there isn’t much calamari after you take off the artichokes and such) and lobster Mac was delicious. We’ve eaten at several places around the world so we may be tough critics. I would try it again but not for a special occasion.

Wow what an outstanding time at this wonderful restaurant! The service is top notch, the Proprietor was extremely hospitable and gracious, head bartender even posed for a picture “shaken, not stirred” And one of the exciting things was meeting Chef Paul Smith who has been nominated for the James Beard Award for Best Chef in the Southeast.

Went for restaurant week. It was very, very good. Our server was friendly and efficient. I had the cioppino, salmon, and chocolate cheesecake. The salmon was perfectly cooked and seasoned, and the stuffed new potatoes such a delight! The cheesecake was light and fluffy and very yummy! The cioppino was devoured before I could get a picture. I will dream of it, it was that good!

What a treat! We had an incredible dinner here on our way home from vacation. I emailed the restaurant to see if I could get a same day reservation and they responded immediately that someone is there to take reservations via phone prior to the restaurant opening time of 4pm.
