We have loved this restaurant for many years. Started coming for lunch and breakfast when we had appts in Issaquah. We live in Renton so we were looking for a great new spot. Lately both my husband and brother have been coming with me to enjoy some of our favorites. KJR is the sweetest most kind and attentive server extraordinaire. Everyone who works here are cheerful and welcoming. The atmosphere is very diner like with booths, tables and counter service. The menu is quite large with daily specials and breakfast served all day. The food is good old American food cooked the way you like it. They serve the best frozen style strawberry and raspberry jam to accompany toast, pancakes or anything it goes with. It can get quite busy during peak times and there is sometimes a wait list but if you come during the week especially, usually seated right away.

I am a traveling employee in the hospitality industry. One of the harder parts of the job is finding good places to eat. This cafe is a 5 star winner! I had a french dip and peanut butter chocolate pie. Both were delicious. On top of that the girl who took my order and checked me out was so nice. I will definitely be recommending this restaurant to our guests.

Delicious food that was served quickly. The crisp breakfast potatoes were fantastic, and my egg scramble was better than diner quality so was a nice surprise. If I can think of one thing to improve it would be slightly more prompt wait staff. All up it was value for money and well worth it.

We just ate here and it was so delicious you must come. They say the are famous for the big Montana so that’s what we had. The portion was gigantic. So freaking delicious. Biscuit and gravy was awesome as well. Ate it to quick to get a picture.
