Historic building on the national register. Would like to see more photos of historic significance displayed instead of modern day junk. Clam chowder was runny with few clams and potatoes. Ceaser salad did not have enough dressing and the flavor was lacking. A friend had meatloaf and didn’t like it. The cocktails were decent. Will probably go back and try different items.

1400 bar and grill is a great place to come for drinks and food. The Mai Tais are amazing, very good if your into them. I ordered the spam fries and those were a nice treat if you have as much class I do . We also ordered the steamers appetizer, and that was the treat of the whole experience. If you love all seafood I highly recommend you trying it. The shrimp was amazing, the clams and cod are cooked to perfection! We met the owner Yani, and he is a class act, very nice and big on the history of this location, and Greek history as well lol. Please come in and you will not regret it.

We were visiting the pinball museum, drove up from Monterey County for the day, and just wanted a place within walking distance to watch the MLB All Star Game and have some food and a few drinks. OMG…. the food was bomb! We had the Spam fries, the Streamers (mussels, clams, etc.), and pulled pork sliders. They were all really yummy. I’m a huge fan of this place.

We’ve only come for the pizzas so far. On Mondays, all their pizzas are 50% off, so Mondays have become our pizza night. The pies are made fresh, and they’re delicious!

They have a great selection of draft beers, but getting one can take a while. Sadly, service at the bar itself is sketchy if you’re not a known regular. Don’t even try if you’re not fine with being ignored.
