I recently had the pleasure of trying the pizza at 16 Rounds. I have to say, it was absolutely delicious! The crust was perfectly crisp and had just the right amount of chewiness to it. The sauce was flavorful and had a nice balance of sweet and tangy notes. And the toppings were fresh and plentiful, adding a great depth of flavor to every bite.

On a whim, we stopped in on Sunday for a quick bite. What a treat! The welcoming staff introduced us to their kitchen…it’s a lot more than just pizza, but we chose the pizza and a salad anyway. Good stuff. We had the 10 inch Rogotta with meatballs. Crisp crust, delicious cheese and the meatballs were awesome. Friends ordered the salad and a 16 inch…way too much to finish in one sitting. Oh, yea, we’ll be back.

A cute lil place, (my 1st time there) that’s very clean and has a bit of everything with great flavor. I ordered the eggplant rollitini 10″ & my husband ordered the Buffalo chicken with Jalapeños, also 10″. He loved his custom made pie. The eggplant rollitini was DELICIOUS. I will definitely go back try what else they have. The menu definitely has alot to choose from, apps, salads, main dishes & desserts. It’s a lil slice of heaven. It’s a must try, if you haven’t gone already. Ohh!! And I love the owners choice of music

On a whim, I took my wife and three young boys to try out 16 ROUND last weekend. To say it was a success is an understatement. Everybody loved the pizza. The staff, while young, were very kind and eager to help. That’s a great quality to have because often nowadays when you go into a restaurant, some young staff aren’t always attentive or eager to help. This was the opposite experience. Anyway, the margarita pizza (with fresh basil) was extremely good. Fresh, not burnt (which is a plus because some wood fired pizza is cooked too hot and comes out burnt).

I got the 16” margarita pizza, was sub-par – I also got the Buffalo wings- soggy rubbery trash. A wing should have some crisp and some texture, their wings are a step below even dominoes, and the sauce needs a heavy improvement as well. Only reason I give three- is they gave me 2 free cookies that were quite good and a very friendly delivery driver!

When my usual place in Saint James informed me after being a customer for more years than I care to remember that they were no longer delivering to Stony Brook. I looked to see what other options there were. And I came across this place. We had a pizza delivered it was absolutely wonderful. Loved it, we should have ordered more. No reviews on atmosphere as we ate it at home.

Nothing like the pleasant char from a 900 ° wood-burning oven to enhance a pizza. The artisans at the new 16 Round restaurant have a large ensemble of traditional as well as inventive variations made with fresh ingredients and and caring preparation. While waiting for our takeout, everyone, especially the owners were friendly and interested in what we had to say.
