I randomly looked this place up out of curiosity & was pleasantly surprised to see they had vegan options. Truly a hidden gem. I really enjoyed the General Tso’s tofu & vegan sesame chicken. I can’t wait to order from them again.

Pan Seared Dumplings were Deep Fried. I called and they took it off the bill, but then I was eating the Pork Lo Mein (which was delicious) until I found a hair in it. I don’t know if I’ll try again

It’s passable Chinese food at good prices. The best part is that it’s open late. The service is OK. The atmosphere is wierd because it’s also a beer store and bar, you have to order at the store window.

Meant to give it 3 stars but anywhom, everything was good up until i found hair inside my kung pao chicken . Im just going to stick to the stuff that goes into the fryer from this place.

When I’m craving lo mein, I’m specifically craving 17 Snyder’s lo mein. It’s so flavorful and garlicky, so delicious! This place might just seem like a hole in the wall beer store when you enter, but when you go through the side door into the bar/seating area, it’s a whole different vibe. It’s great for dining in or grabbing a drink while you wait for your take out. 17 Snyder has quickly become my favorite place for Chinese takeout in south Philly.

Nastiest food I have ever eaten. Would not recommend. Every time I come here it reeks of Marijuana, and the people working cashier are admittedly really shady. My little brother used to buy beers from this place regularly, yet the price for their inventory is always different depending on who’s working behind the counter. The lady always tries to charge more. Also, this place always asks for ID when buying beer even if you go there 5-6 times a week. You’re better off walking a few extra blocks over to Brothers Two, at least they care about their customers and know how to remember faces.

If I could leave no stars I would. Very poor customer service here. The delivery guy and the guy on the phones here both were rude and yelled at me about food I was charged for but didn’t receive. All of that for them to realize afterwards that I didn’t get the food and they dropped it off on the porch. No apology or anything. They don’t get your order right, they change things in your order without asking, and will give you under cooked chicken. Never ordering from this place again.

This cinnamon toast was amazing. Definitely stop by again, nice bar with huge selection of craft beers. You can also order food here, a unique spot in South Philly.
