I wasn’t looking to go big but after I read the way the wagyu cows were raised I couldn’t resist it. The steak was cooked to perfection with a crunchy sear and seasoned lightly with salt. Every bite was absolute bliss. The side of spinach was a perfect pairing and very delicious. The Foie Gras was rich and creamy as expected. The finishing touch with the crème brûlée was a nice palette cleanser from all that richness of the meal.

Amazing food and the place is very beautiful and clean from the dinning area to the bathrooms. The food and drinks were amasing! Very much a high quality place to dine so not a place we would visit often. But we had an amazing dinner. Our food was out in minute. Best steak and turf I’ve ever had and I don’t do raw steak! The oysters I was suprised were so cheap and man were they gooood! Our server was amazing and the free “pallet cleanser” they offered us were so good. I hope to be able to feature that in my business! All in total for steak and turf, a steak and truffle fries, 2 old fashions, oyster meal and potatoes, and oyster appetizer, we paid 210.00. Highly recommended . It’s inside a hotel which is even more convenient because if we wanted to we could have booked a room,went to the spa,and it was across from the park so we got to see the Christmas light display. The movie theater is next door and so many other businesses.

This is quite the dining experience. The space is opulent and gorgeous. You can definitely feel the history. The hotel where this restaurant is at was built in 1914. Lots of historical figures and Hollywood stars stayed here.

Came to 1700 for restaurant week in El Paso. Was very surprised by the taste and quality of the food. The service was amazing. Our server Erik Meza went above and beyond from the beginning all the way to the end of our dinning experience. He was very knowledgeable and offered great recommendations. The filet mignon was delightful. The 1700 sundae was exquisite. Will definitely recommend and return.
