I wandered in last week just to check it out and was blown away by the hospitality and comfortable atmosphere. Small town feel and service that was top-notch. Also, the bathroom was clean (and cute), which is so important!

Livingston Airport is a great place to fly into to go get a meal during your travels. There is a courtesy van that can take you to this adorable historic general store for the best burger and lemonade you ever put in your mouth.

The girl that took my order ,Marianna, was the friendliest person. She had a HUGE smile on her face and was absolutely delightful. She made sure I got exactly what I wanted(I’ll admit I’m a bit picky ) The food was so so good. Will 100% come again. I hope I get her service again

Stopped for cup of coffee, lady said it was 27 cents. I kept asking her, How Much because I couldn’t believe it. Another lady near the counter paid for the coffee, what a place!!! They are open Friday night till 8. Super nice staff! Can’t wait to come back! But coffee for 27 cents, unheard-of!!!!

Shoulder had great flavor but was not done enough. Potato salad was not baked potato salad, it was a mustard base that tasted like it came from the local grocery store deli. It was not good. The deviled eggs were not smoked, and the filling was liquid. I threw them in the trash. I noticed they were storing them in the deli case cooler which is not proper temp to store deviled eggs. I had such high hopes for BBQ to come to town again. I will try again as I know they just made the switch over to BBQ. I hope they can fix the things mentioned and serve what the menu states. When 1806 first opened it was great. But a year or so in, they started cutting quality of their food. The salad bar had old veggies that tasted like they had mildew on them. They changed the potato salad and the cornbread salad (which used to be amazing). It was very noticable to someone like myself who worked in food service much of my life. The consistency fell to the wayside and I stopped going there altogether until they brought in the BBQ. I hope they can get back to what the food quality was. Not sure if people around here are so bent on supporting their friends/locals to the point of not being honest with them when the fall to being subpar when it comes to what they serve. This is an honest review. I love to support local. But food is too expensive all around when you eat out to not be honest when it’s not good.

I’d been here before for the salad bar, but had never tried their daily specials. Well, cabbage and kielbasa sounded good for lunch, so I gave them a try. SO. GLAD I did!! THIS is down-home-swear-your-own-grandmama-made-it cooking. Everything was so flavorful and so perfectly cooked.

Stopped with a group of 12 people to get some ice cream. Only four choices and could not make sundies I can’t ride the taste because they couldn’t serve me. Ice cream shoo needs an upgrade. On another not, we did buy a bird house the the antique shop . I still suggest you try the lunch menu for yourself and shop around.
