Quality food, a great place to eat where everyone knows your name! There are a good variety of menu items from vegetarian to BBQ! There’s usually entertainment. And if you’re invited to a party or event here, prepare to be spoiled. Lots of good choices. Food is always served fresh and fast. Came to town for a funeral and ended up eating here twice in 2 nights. They were so accommodating to us, especially the first night when we called ahead to make sure they could serve more than 20 of us right before they closed. The food was delicious and the owners/staff went above and beyond to make us feel great. I cannot say enough about the great service! Thanks 1841 cafe!

In town for business & per a recommendation from a friend…. decided to try this long-established, downtown bar and restaurant. They have a varied menu with salads, starters and entrees- on the country side of cuisine. Everything I had was good, and the older “bar crowd” was friendly! A rustic atmosphere with street-side parking and attentive wait staff. Stop in for a bite, sit back at a booth or small table and enjoy!

Great blackberry drinks for the blackberry festival. I had looked at the menu online before we got there. I had already chosen what I wanted to eat. When we got there, I ordered ,but was told I couldn’t get it because they have a different menu for the blackberry festival. It was a sandwich, but would not make it.

Love this place. Vickie and Mom setzer sure do make you feel like family. They are family to me and I sure love seeing them every time me and my husband or mom go. Food is always good and so are the drinks! Vickie made me a drink called Bettlejuice the day I got married . If you’re not from the area and are in Lenoir go check this place out!

Been meaning to try this place and went here for lunch on a Tuesday afternoon. At that time plenty of street parking was available. There was only one couple seated outside, and the inside of the restaurant seemed somewhat busy, but there were empty tables available.

First time eating here after hearing good things from a customer of mine. Me, my wife and 6 year old son. We must have gone on an off evening. Sat outside which was nice. Took forever for drinks to come which was tea. Refills were overdue multiple times. Three different servers or staff were waiting on us and I don’t think they were communicating to each other. The food we ordered was nothing impressive. Was there for 2 hours and most of that was waiting and waiting.
