We were visiting and decided to try this place. The atmosphere is great, services was amazing and the food was delicious. We had the pork belly for an app, prime rib and asparagus, and the filet and baked potato. All of it was amazing. Also, our reservation was for 6:30 and we were done by 7:11 that’s how good the service was.

We arrived on time for our reservation, and when escorted to a table, we asked for a booth. Unfortunately, they seated us near the loud bar, and the booth seats were uncomfortable, and when the door opened, the sunlight was blinding. They had booths that looked more comfortable and unoccupied. Although the seating was not good, the server was very nice and attentive. The food was average. The portion size seemed small for the price. I’m glad we received water refills, or we may have left hungry after spending $70+

The food was AMAZING! The chicken fried chicken was fried just right was juicy with just enough crisp to the crust. I loved that the mashed potatoes were real potatoes and not instant like a lot of restaurants serve and had just enough salt and pepper. The green beans were cooked well and seasoned well!

Let me start out by saying that you need to get the Texas experience, smoke meatballs, quail, pork belly, and fried jalapeños is a must. I promise, you won’t regret it. If you fancy an old fashioned, try their signature 45 drink. The red fish was delicious and the rice that came with it is very satisfying. Overall I would highly recommend this establishment for its food, service and its environment.

All-Texas themed restaurant. Very good service and a great, and huge, pork chop. We started with couple cocktails, that were just OK, and started with fried quail legs with spicy honey that were surprisingly good. Then the star of the night and the reason we came here, the Smoked Pork Chop, which was amazing and enough to share for two. We even chewed on those large bones, and accompanied with the Brussel sprouts and au gratin potatoes. We came here because we heard that this pork chop was worth taking the #1 spot from Perry’s pork chop, and while I still prefer Perry’s, this one is definitely, hands down, second best. Couldn’t make it to the dessert. The only ‘critic’ we have is that music was a little too loud.

Great sevice. Friendly waitstaff. Delicious food: house salad, chicken fried steak, smothered chicken and bourbon peach Cobbler. They made my birthday celebration special with a sparkler in our dessert. FYI steak prices are high: $41 – $105. The interior is very dark with black being the dominant color.

When I tell you the food was excellent the service was excellent the ambience was excellent. I typically don’t patronize places with low scores in reviews but I am also super skeptical of high reviews and on this day on my 44th birthday I tried tis place and I must say it was bussing.

Very nice restaurant for any type of night out. Superb drink menu. Great desserts. The prime rib was far too Smokey for my liking. The only flavor in the filet queso was cilantro. I didn’t love what I ordered but the rest of my party liked theirs.

Absolutely love this place! Literally the best restaurant in the DFW! We come here for our business dinners, my family special events and just any other reason possible. The staff and management it’s phenomenal and their food will rival any of the top restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex. I highly recommend the sirloin!
