This is probably the best restaurant in Middleton. Most dishes are great. My partner and I love the burger, tenderloin tips, and French onion soup. My absolute favorite is the chicken Caesar salad — one of the best I’ve ever had. The dressing is made in-house and the chicken is grilled to perfection. Dessert options are higher end and delicious. They also make great old fashioned’s, as every Wisconsin restaurant should. Why 4 stars? Their parking lot is terrible! Humongous potholes everywhere! And it’s been like this for several years now and only gotten worse. Every time we visit we’re afraid we’re going to bottom out. So, I’ll update to 5 stars when they update their asphalt!

Honestly it was a mixed experience. For a fine dining restaurant, the food quality was a bit suspect. The Chicken Parmesan was cold and the beef in the beef stroganoff was tough and grissley. We had them replace the chicken parmesan and it came out steaming hot the second time.

Food was good to excellent. Had the calamari (good), cheese curds (great), Brussels sprouts (good), and chicken marsala (excellent). My friends drinks were strong they said. I had soft drinks. Chicken entree was big enough for two. Really. Took a star off because place was a bit noisy.

The food was amazing and 100% worth the price. Our server was very attentive and helped us choose our courses. We LOVED everything! The truffle fries with the aioli were to die for! Thank you charlie for taking care of us! If you are in Middleton you should definitely stop by.

this place is amazing. the atmosphere is so cozy and beautiful, the service is wonderful, and they have delicious drinks and impeccable food. it was SO hard for me to pick what i was going to have for dinner. there is so much history in the stamm house; i love how they include it- even on the back of their menu! everybody who works there is so friendly and warm. we will certainly be back for another date night in the near future.

Delicious food, excellent setvice, and wonderful atmosphere! The history of the place is really cool and they did an excellent job restoring the building. Highly recommend visiting. If you can, sit outside on the patio in the evening (in the summer).
