The food was pretty good. The wings and gumbo were delicious from what my friend said, I had the fried green tomatoes and those were phenomenal but they had so many toppings on them, the crab cake burger was lacking a bit of flavor surprisingly.

We ordered the trout and eggs, skirt steak, Philly cheese steak filet and two bananas foster. Faith was our waitress. Service was top-notch; we knew Faith from Fulins and she’s a pro and extremely attentive but not intrusive.

I wish that I could give this place more than 5 stars! The server was super friendly, fast, and knowledgeable. We never had to ask for drink refills or anything because they were so on top of it. The food was PHENOMENAL. The smoked salmon dip is addictive and the 1885 Burger is just perfection. We can’t wait to go back!

First time eating here. Reservations were late at night, but did not disappoint. Our waiter, Tommy was very helpful in choosing our meals. He was prompt with service and the food. We had the okra and pimento cheese, which was such a delight! We shared the shrimp and grits, with half creamy grits, and the grits patty. We also ordered a side of the corn. The shrimp and grits were perfect, and the corn was good. Would recommend these items if you are looking for something unique. Overall I would rate this restaurant a 10/10. We will be back soon!

The service and atmosphere was pleasant. Our food was okay. I had the Cajun chicken pasta and my pasta was very dry. In the description it said cream sauce. No sauce. The chicken was nicely seasoned and juicy. My husband had the fried flounder. There was too much breading on the fish for his liking, but said the actual fish was good. He did not like the coleslaw, but said the mac n cheese and hushpuppies were delicious. The waitress was very helpful and she did replace his coleslaw with a baked potato. Not pictured is the appetizer: The Award winning Wings. The spicy Carolina gold sauce was amazing. There was a crunchy crisp to the chicken with a wet sauce which is a hard to come by texture at a restaurant. I think they were best thing from our entire meal. Overall I would go again but try something different on the menu!

Another great experience – hostess crew accommodated change to patio table without missing a beat. Food outstanding as usual, crab and sausage gumbo very, very good. Server Brandy made lunch great again with her sense of humor and attentiveness, jumped right into the banter and took great care of us!

Enjoyed a great brunch with family. Restaurant was a little loud, and I could barely hear what my family was talking about. There was a live band which was cool but also music playing on the speakers at the same time. Our table was dirty in front of where I sat. I placed my hand down, and it was covered with crumbs. My son sat down and got syrup on his pants. We had a waiter in training taking care of us, and I thought he did a really good job. Our drinks stayed full, and we were brought extra condiments. The food took a little while to get to our table, but it was undstandable since the restaurant was busy.
