Great stop for a family meet up. 1/2 bar, 1/2 Cafe. Food was excellent, simple but tasty and well prepared. Service? Bar none. Pleasant and cordial service and filled with friendly locals and non-locals. Driving by? Stop in. You’ll be glad.

Got the hot roast beef and the meat was tough. Even gave my Husband a bite and he loves roast beef. He even said it was tough. They piled it on good. I think it was old and was just trying to get rid of the last if it. The mashed potatoes had wayyy to much pepper in it. And what was worse was We wait a long time for the food to come out. Only had one waitress for the front area. My husband git the shrimp basket and the fries were over cooked and greasy. My granddaughter got the chicken sandwich basket and the chicken in the middle wasn’t done. Yeah pretty sure we won’t be back. And would have only gave one star but they tend to not post one stars.

Okay place with a decent atmosphere but if your wanting to party do not recommend only serve one drink at a time so it better be a strong one but thats okay considering they are way more of a restaurant than a bar so if ya need somewhere to eat this is your place if your looking to drink and party this probably isnt your place

Two stars is being generous. I’ll not return. I ordered prime rib, medium, but was served medium well. My friend ordered medium rare and was served well done. She sent it back and they served her the same piece of steak again. The au ju was nearly clear and it almost had a bbq twange to it. Not good. I ended up using ketchup from my husband’s sandwich on my meat. The waitress was friendly but that’s the only good thing I can say about 1887 Bar and Grill.
