I have waited over 25 minutes for a salad and by the pictures you can see this place isn’t busy at all. Onion soup came out at room temperature, not hot at all. Salads was very small for the price and came out as a brick of iceberg lettuxe with ranch drizzled on it for me to tear apart and make my own salad. Ridiculous. Service is less than desirable and the breakfast buffet was mediocre at best. I read the reviews and tried to give them a shot (once for breakfast and once for lunch) epic fail. At least it isn’t McDonald’s. Go somewhere else

Closed by Health Department due to being unsafe. Looks like an upscale place but whole Plaza Resort is in need of new management that is very apparent. Place has alot of potential but the Rooms are starting to need work along with much of the facility. Staff are freindly just needs work.

Lore our server was phenomenal! Everything we had was delicious! We had the Calamari, Grilled Oysters, Lobster mac n cheese ( highly recommend!), and the 14 oz. ribeye steak with mashed potatoes. All was good!

Ordered avocado toast with tomatoes and crab. Very disappointed. Ordinary brown bread, old mashed avocado, tasteless tomatoes and smelly crab. Where’s the fresh food? My partner had tough, dried out buttermilk pancakes and overcooked eggs. ☹️ The coffee was good though.

1888 was our favorite restaurant in Daytona Beach – we ate here 3x in a week! Kim, Diana and Donald were all amazing and very attentive! We were able to try something different each time from their new menu. The food was delicious! We tried the Ribeye, Pork Chops, Chicken Piccata, and Shrimp Scampi – all of which I would highly recommend. And the appetizer Southern Caprese Salad was the best, so we ordered all 3 nights!

Horrible. We ate the salmon which was not fresh and some kind of nasty mustard crusted seasoning on top that made me sick for the next 2 days. The ravioli was doughy and wet, Im assuming it was frozen too.Horrible service, brought me ice tea with food crumbs floating in the glass. The hotel this restaurant is located in is just as bad. Constant noise from staff and wild guest will not let you rest. The walls are so thin you here people using the bathroom all night. Beds are very uncomfortable and I was placed in a room with a view of the roof, where the people above me were throwing cigarette and cigar butts onto. I would never return. Worst experience of my life!
