Food is always delicious. Love their breaded tenderloins and handmade cheese-curds. Steaks, pork-chops, chicken, etc. I’ve never had a meal there that I didn’t like. Excellent selection of beers on tap. Beautiful restaurant atmosphere at a very affordable price!

An amazing restaurant in my hometown! A must try for hand-cut pork tenderloins and steaks, hand-battered cheese balls and home-made potato chips. The beautifully renovated, historic main street location offers a full bar, comfortable restaurant seating and great service. Locally owned and operated, it’s definitely on my top 10 places to eat in Iowa!

I’ve been there twice in the past few weeks for work, had the daddy bacon burger and the ribeye steak sandwich. I thought the burger was a little Bland, but the ribeye sandwich was excellent grilled onions and mushrooms. Friendly service Great ambiance will definitely be back

Excellent taste/huge beef Ribeye steak; also pork tenderloin sandwich. Caitlynn, waitress, was very friendly, attentive & helpful. Farm fresh green beans were tasty. Traer has Excellent Restaurant and great prices at 1901 Chop Haus!

Today makes the 3rd time I’ve eaten hear within a week the 1st and 2nd time was really good but tonight was awful I ordered a cheeseburger the waitress brought it to the table noticed it was missing the cheese so I asked her didn’t this come with cheese. Well instead of taking it back she bought me a cold slice of cheese really. I just put it on the ate.
