Hands down the best. The only downside is that they don’t stay open later. I believe they close at 7 and when the time of day gets away from you and you’ve ran into the situation where it’s just easier to eat out than to cook at home it’s usually around 8-9 at night. Let’s all bombard this place with business so they are forced to stay open till 9. Lol! Barbbacoa dipping tacos are amazing. Also best place in town to get a gyro other than at the fair once a year but when that comes around if you’ve had your 1910 gyros then it’ll be easier to decide between the gyro or the kabobs.

I moved to Albert Lea from Los Angeles California and struggled to find real Mexican food in this town and Mexican food that’s good. UNTIL 1910 fresh came around. This is my absolute favorite restaurant in the town. Everything I have had here has been great. The barbacoa tacos are my favorite thing and so is the carne asada fries. The carne is cooked great, the chicken and beef are as well. The burritos are huge and great. Even the rice and beans here are better than everywhere else. The ground meat to me is the biggest difference because the ground meat at the other places in town i.e. taco John’s, place morena, casa Zamora is disgusting and not authentic Mexican tasting, those other restaurants are more on the ‘Tex-Mex side but def aren’t Mexican food. Anyways, do yourself a favor n try 1910 fresh out. I just wish they would expand the menu with like tamales, chimichangas, maybe some Flan dessert and breakfast burritos like mechaca . I WOULD RECOMMEND 1910 Fresh to anyone that wants real Mexican food. The staff has always been great and just going next door to shell will make u hungry because the smell from the restaurant

The food is awesome! Service is ok. Atmosphere: this location is inside an old Taco Bell location, connected to a gas station, with zero decor. The only female employee I’ve seen there seems like she is just there and doesn’t want to be there, she’ll take your order with a RBF, no eye contact, and a lack of any customer service skills.
