I had a cucumber jalapeños margarita to start. That was very yummy. My husband and I both got a cheeseburger and fries. They were really big and were the best tasting hamburger that I have had. Hands down. They were the best. Very fresh tasting and savory. Fries were awesome. Would highly recommend this place.

Great place for a drink, no vegetarian options though. The bartender was great but he was overwhelmed with 8 bar customers and 4 tables. We saw a few people come in and leave as they didn’t get table service in the first few minutes.

It’s a walk in and seat your tush wherever you like/what’s open. Bartender was immediately greeting and asking what I wanted, but I was waiting for family to show up. Definite +1 for attentiveness. Family showed up and we ordered, bartender brought drinks out, we waited for food, and since we were at the table right by the window in Texas weather, it was a bit warm… But food came out and was generous in portion size and tasted great. 2 people had the salmon sandwich, other had beefy tacos, ordered everything without onions. I hate onions so this is kind of a big thing for me, and everything was perfect.

Me and my wife really coming down to seguin the staff here at the 1916 bar and bistro and Miss Taylor was awesome mixologist she very polite. And greeted us walking in. We did eat dinner and their Food very tasteful. The ambience is like home.

Small 2-sided bar, restaurant area. Definitely a local spot. Went here based on what we read. I had a different vision in my head as what to expect. Walked in, headed to the bar side. No bar seats or tables. No problem. Stood behind the patrons at the bar hoping to get served, but no. Ended up at the end of the bar, to finally be asked what we liked to drink. Ordered, the we asked if it was OK to stand where we were. No, of course not. A nice guy beside us said the 2 tables they were sitting we could have as they were leaving. So we walked over to the corner of the table and stood, as they still had a couple sitting there. Let’s just say people are VERY territorial about their spot. Eventually, a couple was leaving from the bar. Great, we’ll try again. Once more, a girl stood behind the empty stool arm on the back where no one could sit. I mean really!!
