My recent dining experience at 1928 Beacon Hill Restaurant in Boston was a mix of delights and room for growth. The culinary journey started with a tantalizing octopus starter that showcased a mastery of flavors and textures. The main course, a steak cooked to medium rare perfection, was the highlight of the meal, offering a succulent and satisfying experience. The journey concluded with a classic tiramisu that delivered the perfect balance of sweetness and coffee-infused indulgence.

The ambiance at this almost secret restaurant, tucked among the homes of Beacon Hill is fantastic. We had a couple of very good cocktails shared some appetizers. The menu wasn’t too exciting, but the deviled eggs were spectacular. Unfortunately the spinach & artichoke dip was under-seasoned. The chocolate cake is delicious and shouldn’t be skipped if you can afford the calories.

Excellent place, service and food are outstanding. We had one of the best family dinners in a long time. Lindsey and Sebastian are there to make you feel special and they are absolutely amazing. One of my favorite places in Boston.

1928 Beacon Hill is a super cute, very old Boston style restaurant right by Charles Street. The interior is beautiful with dark wood, little decor pieces and the glasses and silverware march that style.

Expensive and not super worth it. The drinks were tasty, but the food was over salted. The waitress also forgot to bring out the bacon and sausage that we ordered at first. Probably would find somewhere else to spend $100 at a quick brunch

Tucked in Boston’s Beacon Hill, 1928 is outstanding in both its cuisine and atmosphere. We visited in March 2023 for a Wine Dinner with Gerard Bertrand, and the experience was phenomenal. The food was thoughtfully paired with each wine, and service could not have been better!

Liked the experience. I thought the quality was great, but something seemed off on the flavor. Great service!

We just met up with a large group of friends at 1928 for drinks and dinner and had a fantastic time. The ambience of “Old Boston” was just what we were looking for, coming from San Diego. The service was terrific and our food was delicious. We will definitely be back and inviting new friends to stop in as well!

No complaints- I just reserve 5 stars for superior experiences. Food was good- shrimp scampi and sole were both tasty. The deviled eggs app was terrific!

Hi I came in here for brunch with my gf and I was blown away. I started my meal off with the Maple Old Fashioned and it was perfect.
