I would love to give a good review but nope. The restaurant messed my order twice but the second time was the worst. A brisket baked potato with no brisket. We made the order before they closed so by the time it was noticed they were like come back another day. Instead of them replacing the whole potato they gave my husband a cup of brisket. WHAT WAS THE DAMN POINT IN THAT??? I know some of you will comment well you got the potato and they only replaced what they forgot… sad to say you would only make that comment because you don’t expect more from the Dayton restaurants and you will settle for any type of treatment. A dry baked potato one week and a cup of brisket the next, did they think we kept the potato to go with the damn brisket???? Just awful behavior and customer service…. Smdh So I have given up on this place. It was great when they first opened but now they are like every other doomed restaurant in Dayton poor food and terrible customer service.

I ordered a chopped brisket plate with potato salad and baked beans. I wound up with $15 worth of scraps. It was more fat than brisket and the potato salad tasted salty. I called to register a complaint and spoke with Tristan. Instead of offering to make it right, he acted like he didn’t want to hear it. I guess I will have to find another bbq joint. Too expensive to just throw away but I couldn’t eat it.

I won’t be back. The BBQ is dry… like it would’ve been good a few days ago but there must not be a big turn around and it gets recycled the next day, and the next. Brisket Mac N Cheese was about the most flavorless disappointment I’ve had in a while. It’s like Kraft Macaroni and cheese with a wee bit of brisket pieces tossed in it. The baked beans got pitched. Okra wasn’t anything to write home about. And to top it all off, I was sat on the throne about 15-20 minutes later, regretting I ate any of it.

We have dined in and have done take out. Great BBQ for the area. have had the brisket, sausage, ribs, and bake potato. Have yet to be disappointed in their food. If I want BBQ, when in Dayton, this is where I go.

We picked up a half rack of ribs , pound of brisket , pound of pork and mac-n-cheese . The food is competition style . So if you like some fat to add flavor this place is not for you . The ribs were okay . The pork was very dry . The brisket was the worst . I could barely chew it , it was sooo dry . The mac-n-cheese was underwhelming and needed seasoning .

I love it !! Probably the best potato salad I’ve ever ate . I love the loaded fries They give you a pretty good amount of food . Brisket Mac is amazing and my 2 meats brisket and sausage were delicious ! Good job guys !
