Finally a Great place to get an authentic salsa and one of the best enchiladas I’ve had outside of my own homemade cheesy chicken…. a chef never gives up her/his secrets! Atmosphere is cozy. Staff is very friendly with hometown up-north kind of talk, ‘ya betcha! Portions are very big with not very big price attached! I’ve yet to finish my meal without taking leftovers home!

Food and price were really good. They could use better silverware, only adding that because some bent when my kids tried cutting their burritos. The servers were incredibly polite but perhaps may enjoy additional etiquette training to avoid responding with, “Yup!” to being thanked. 🙂

Was not impressed! Came here for supper on 9/23/17 after running the Ely Half Marathon earlier that day. Our first mistake was stepping through the door. When we pulled up there were two people on the side of the building smoking while wearing their kitchen gloves, (I later identified these and the 2 cooks.) We were seated right away and given water and a basket or chips and salsa. Approximately 45 min. later the guy waiter (I believe possibly owner/manager) finally took our order. When we arrived there were only a few other tables. Still not sure why we chose to sit there and wait that long for the waiter to take our orders. During this extremely long wait to order we were never offered more chips/salsa or refills on water. The waiter and waitress that evening were even arguing about who would be our server. We ordered the Chicken Nachos which were actually very good and Chicken Fajiatias which were ok. The refried beans were very dry and the rice just had a different taste than used to… maybe lime juice added to it. My wife ordered some specialty drink with Captain Morgan and she said that was good. I had a Diet Coke and was never offered a refill, (menu stated 1 refill) not sure why they actually limit you to 1 refill when fountain pop is very cheap for them to buy.

Order was brought totally mixed up, sent back 2nd go around still wrong and now cold. Did not get side items the second go around but still charged for missing sides. Told by the waitress next time try something different burritos are not usually a good choice! Excuse me? There will never be a next time, 2 burritos and two drinks $40? I think not! Either it was a bad night, or other reviewers are easily pleased non the less I will never return or recommend! What a let down!

Loved the food- best Mexican I’ve ever had (Build your own taco salad with unique topping choices- awesome idea btw), but service was eh. SIDE NOTE: Asked for a straw for my drink- server brings me an UNwrapped straw and places it directly on our booth’s table= So gross and health code violation in my opinion. I have always received wrapped straws in restaurants when they’re not in a drink… oh well. Crossed my fingers my cup was sterilized properly and don’t get sick lol eek. Would definitely go again for the food.

Service was fine but the food was average at best. They didn’t have your typical steak (carne asada). Instead, they had shredded braised beef which was just OK. The “tater tots” were too salty and the chicken enchilada was dry.

This is the place to go if you want to pay 18$ for a large margarita that was all mix. When asking the waitress how much tequila was in it since we couldnt taste it she responded with there was triple sec. Hmmm great what about tequila… Not to mention had no knowledge about what agave even was. Food was cold and tasteless. I almost wanted to tell people that were coming in the door to turn around. Worst experience dining out ever. 60$ for drinks and food we didnt even eat.
