Absolutely delicious. My meal started with wonderful home made tortilla chips & fresh pico de gallo beautifully prepared. I then proceeded to the shredded beef burrito. The beef was prepped & seasoned beautifully, bursting with flavor and authenticity. Everything felt & tasted fresh & just right. I topped it off with an extra treat: a refreshing home made horchata, one of the best I’ve had. This place is a must to try out for any serious Tex Mex lover.

I have visited Dos Jefes several times over the past few months and have been consistently satisfied with the food and service. The atmosphere inside is welcoming and the facilities very clean. The service staff is polite and super attentive to your needs, have never had to wait for a refill or more chips/salsa (note: the salsa is a little thin and liquidy for my tastes, but I loved the thin chips that don’t overfill you before the meal). Now on to the most important part…. the food! Every meal I have had has been really tasty, I have tended toward the seafood dishes and cannot recommend the seafood enchiladas highly enough. I had previously had a single “go-to” restaurant for Tex-Mex, but nice to have another great option in close proximity.

Good food! We had the crispy tacos (chicken and ground beef), and fajitas (pick 2 combo with carnitas, and shrimp brochette) both were great and the waiter also brought me some house made hot sauce which I recommend as well. With the fajitas the carnitas were good, but the shrimp brochette were fantastic. The shrimp is wrapped in bacon with cheese highly recommend them!

The staff here are just phenomenal- so friendly and attentive! They always greet us with a smile and seem genuinely happy to see us. Margaritas are very good (arrive before 7 for happy hour prices) and the taco Tuesday deal (4 tacos for $10) is great. We come here regularly and each time is a delight! Dos Jefes is a welcomed, bright addition to the otherwise dubious Huntington restaurant scene.

Excellent place for Mexican food. I found it as authentic Mexican cuisine and not like some other mainstream Mexican restaurants around that seem to forget their identity. I was really pleased with my dinner here.
