Our first time and we dined in and enjoyed fried fish platters, the seafood platter and pork chops to go. The wait time was 10-15 minutes but I’m patient for fresh food which was good. The customer service was great and both sisters are warm and welcoming which made for a great dining experience.

We just had breakfast here and we were underwhelmed. We were the only people in the restaurant and our order took close to 10 minutes. Food wasn’t bad it was little things like no salt and pepper on the tables, no butter on the pancakes. All and all it was just a strange breakfast.

Visiting from out of state and wanted some soul food. This was about the closest to find. The fried wings and cornbread was good, but the mac and cheese and collard greens needed some southern help. Way too pricey.

This evening was the first time I tried the food. I heard good and I have heard bad. At my point the meat pork chop and wings very good, the salmon cake to much breading no flavor like green peppers and onions and the collard greens okay have like sweet and kick to it. Potato salad is nasty. They should let ppl known the potato salad has eggs in it switch me being in medical ppl are ALLERGIC to eggs. Not too good. Only will be back for pork chop and chicken

Even though we were a huge party (12 guests) this smaller establishment not only catered to us in a timely manner, the food was great. Everyone was satisfied with their meals. Prices were reasonable for the amount of food each of us received. Excellent service, wonderful atmosphere, and an all around good time. If I’m ever on that side of town again, I’ll be sure to stop in.

The best bang for your buck! I had the most delicious french toast and sausage breakfast which the staff shared was all made from scratch and my friend had one of the breakfast sandwiches (which I had a bite of) and everything was delicious. The staff was knowledge and informative about the food and how everything was made. I only was sad to have come in too late and missed the scrapple for the day! Affordable and delicious! I will come back here anytime I’m visiting.
