Poor service. Even with half the table empty and then knowing the number of guest in their resort, it took them more then 45 mins to even get some fries/chips. Pizza was not available and we were told about it only after we started to order. Most of the tables were waiting for food for a while. They are taking advantage of the fact that we don’t have any place to eat.

We had a horrible experience. Our vacation had been excellent until this experience. Hard to believe this restaurant is owned by Princess. We were seated for over 45 minutes and never had the opportunity to order our dinner. We arrived at 4, they didn’t serve dinner until 430. We expressed our desire to order as soon as we could and ordered an appetizer. After others around us were ordering dinner, we asked if our server could come take our order and she never appeared. When others began receiving their orders, we asked again and was told that our server was gone and on break. We wound up leaving and were not even able to order. After our initial contact, we did not see our server for 55 minutes – we still have not seen her. I am happy to report though that the opposite experience was had at Base Camp Bar. They were exceptional there and made our stay much brighter. Hard to believe that these two restaurants are owned by the same company.

The food was great, the servers were friendly. We were a group of 6 and it was impossible to seat us together so we split into 2 groups of 3. It seemed like most of the seating here was for 2s or 4s. Not much for larger groups (and I’d hardly call a group of 6 large). But the food was great, fresh and tasty.

This dining experience got off to a shaky start, A young lady with bright died red hair said that you would be able to seat me in just a little bit. I waited for 15 minutes and then approached the front desk and said is there was a little bit of an issue with seating. I was then seated in 50% filled dining room. However Angelo my waiter was able to turn night around his service was prompt friendly and genuine. The food came out promptly and was quite tasty. The Rao cheesecake recommended by Angelo was awesome highly recommended try it.

One is kind of stuck up at this lodge as to food choices. Prices are high for food that is just ok. There are a lot of people up here and the wait can be long. I mean this is a big business, supposedly they were short staffed. Now the waitress we had was great. She was helpful and pleasant. Food was fair. Had a burger that was dry but was ok..Not many other places to eat up here so good luck.

We had a fantastic vacation until we attempted to eat here. We arrived at 4 pm and they did not serve dinner until 430. We expressed our desire of being hungry and wanting to order dinner and ordered an appetizer until 430. Our server brought our appetizer and we did not see her again. After 430, other tables were filling up and.ordering dinner. We asked if our server could come and take our order and she never did. After others were receiving their meals, we stopped a second server and asked if our server could come take out order and we were told that she had gone to lunch. We never were able to order. We left and then went to an alternate grill/restaurant on property and had excellent service. Very disappointing after everything else on this trip had been superb!

The food was mediocre. I ordered my prime rib medium rare and it was closer to medium well. The flavor was ok. The cheese mashed potatoes were gross! They appeared to have been made many hours earlier. The nachos were good, but it’s hard to mess those up! The service was good. The food was just disappointing.

I would say the service for us was not what we expected. We arrived there after a 10 hour train/bus ride from a Princess Cruise ship. Th fish and chips were pretty good, nothing spectacular, but tasty. Our problem was that we asked for limes for our water and was told they didn’t have limes but had lemon. That was fine but right afterwards a group sat at the table right beside us. They ordered lime for their beer, and you guessed it they had limes and brought them some. A little bit later they asked for something else and we’re told they were out. They brought a bottle of malt vinegar for us for our fish but when another table close by had asked were told they didn’t have any. The lady pointed to us and our table and said you do have it. They have it at their table. I held the bottle up to show the waiter. We were never offered a refill for our water. I am not sure what the problem was, if the staff wasn’t completely trained or what but not very impressed.
