21 Square, the restaurant bar in the Torrance Marriott, has terrific seating indoor and out. The bartenders are mixed: they all pour a generous drink, and some are spot-on friendly and quick. A few, not so much. Those can be snippy and quite slow at providing service, unless you’re at a bar seat. A few trips ago, one disappeared on us and the others, including the manager, couldn’t figure out what he’d done with our tab. That took way too long to sort out. Takeaway: if you get the right server, you’ll have a great time (the food is also good–first rate French fries, salads and ahi tuna sandwiches).

Great spot if you live in the area !! We’ve been looking for a nice spot that isn’t too crowded during Covid times . We are locals but it has been a great bar type place for us this summer since they space folks well and it isn’t crazy crowded like the mall restaurants . We’ve had the same server-Keaton both visits and he is great! Especially considering they have cut their staff due to the economic conditions . Our new go-to until places open up again ! Ask for Keaton – really nice guy and hospitable host .

Generally good food (breakfast and dinner). Mixed service. Waitress got wine order wrong, didn’t fix or alter price. Breakfast good. Cooked bacon to order. Hamburger is enormous. Good Tuna salad. Air conditioning cold.

We arrived around 8 and were told to take any seat, then we waited about 10 minutes with no one came to wait on us, so we decided to leave without ordering. If you’re understaffed, hire more people or CLOSE the business. It’s in a Marriott property so it ruined their brand as well.

Been here a few times, Bryson is the man! Great whiskey flights especially the Japanese flight! I continue to come here because of the relaxing environment, but aside from that it’s a great and simple menu, and I enjoy chatting with the travelers.
