I love this cafe, I don’t know where to start the coffee they have is really good and great quality coffee. The owner is really nice and he is so welcoming polite and kind, this Cafe is literally a peaceful relaxing place where you want to be after a long day of work or just to study relax or have alone time. I had a amazing experience and I can’t wait to go back!! ❤️

This cafe was recommended to me by a colleague so I gave it a try and I’m glad I did. The staff/barista were very friendly and welcoming. I ordered a cold brew and spinach & ricotta danish that was delicious! The cold brew was actually the best one I’ve had! I’ll definitely be going back for more in the future. I appreciate and love supporting small businesses that add character and value to a neighborhood. This is definitely one!

Great local coffee shop! Visited for the first time during the week. Not too crowded. Good coffee and good selection of baked good. NO cell phone policy which makes it quiet, great for studying or reading. Some tables have a no laptop policy. But there is plenty of place to sit on a laptop table. Ample plugs for electronic. Very nice ambiance. Will be coming back

Too bad the owner can be so unnecessarily rude. Most of the low reviews for this place are in response to his apparent anger problems. The coffee and atmosphere are both good. But the internet will go down and the owner won’t do anything about it. And he’s just an unpleasant person.

I was confused about how to get in because a sign that directed customers to enter though a side door (I assume it’s left over from when the road was under construction). A man came out to direct me and was super nasty to me, even cursing. Much to my shock I found out he was the owner. Wow. Unbelievable. Other staff seems nice.I feel sorry for them that they have to work for him.

I fell in love with 23 Skidoo Cafe in Bloomfield today ! My friend needed to pop in here because they are collecting coats until Dec 31st ( consider dropping off coats if you have some you don’t wear). We both had coffees. I had an iced Carmel Latte and it was fabulous! The interior is large and very chill. I will definitely bring friends here next time I visit – awesome Cafe!!!

Great coffee, lovely interior, nice staff and easy to order online. Owner often presents himself as a bit of a curmudgeon and appears easily aggravated (which is why my family refuse to come here), but I still enjoy the metro coffee shop vibe and baked goods.

I came to this coffee shop 2 times, it was just ok and overpriced, but the third time was my last. I walked through the door and no one was there to greet me, so I sat to use my laptop. 2 minutes later the owner (old white man with glasses) storms out of the kitchen and said I ‘can’t just sit and work without greeting anyone’. But no one was there! He threatened to CALL THE POLICE ON ME 1 hour before closing as I walked out. That experience, the very outdated interior design and architecture left a very bad impression. I wanted this place to be a staple but I’m never going back. Please go support a real coffee shop in Montclair.
