Texas BBQ through and through! Today I had their special: chopped beef sandwich and fresh cut fries. Just thinking about the brisket makes my mouth water! The beef is so tender and juicy, tossed in a tangy BBQ sauce then topped with white onion and crunchy pickles – the perfect sandwich! The fries, oh my, the fries…fluffy on the inside and crispy on the outside. All of 242’s food is a delight! If you haven’t been…GO! Stopped by after canoeing on Lake Carmi. We selected the brisket sandwich and the sampler plate. So good! The brisket broke apart easily and went well with their bbq sauce, ribs were good along with the jalapeño sausage and pulled pork. Good beer selection and friendly staff. Such a great pace to eat in Enosburg Falls.

Fantastic little BBQ joint with great atmosphere and friendly staff. Feel like your part of the family the second you step into joint. The BBQ is fantastic and the jalapeño cheddar sausage was off the charts. The fried chicken sandwich was one of the best sandwiches I have even had…. Huge two pieces of buttermilk fried chicken with homade pickles and perfect toppings.

This place is amazing. We went in for takeout and got the pulled pork and brisket sandwiches and the brisket poutine. I haven’t had BBQ this good in I don’t know how long. The brisket was tender, the pulled pork moist and savory, the brisket poutine was incredible. The meat was smoked to perfection. So delicious. The owner was super friendly. We’ll definitely be back!

This is located in The Country Club and overlooks the golf course and mountains. The food was excellent and abundant. We ordered the meat sampler with Pulled Pork,Sausage,Ribs,and Brisket. It was so tender and yummy. We had macaroni & cheese and creamed style corn that was delish! Worth every penny! The service was friendly and great. Highly recommend this gem!

Order of pulled pork nachos was easily enough for 2 people and very good. Maple Sriracha wings were amazing. If I lived in the area, I’d definitely go back. The wooden bench booths were uncomfortable however.

David and Cindy are awesome owners. Not only do they make amazing bbq dishes but they are very attentive to their guests and really make you feel like you are the center of attention. They are personable and share their own experiences from moving from Massachusetts to Texas back to the northeast here in Vermont.

People will complain about pricing, but you get far more than what you pay for! Homemade, authentic Texas barbecue. You can’t get anything like it in Vermont, let alone the North East. The hype is worth it. It’s a dining experience that will leave you satisfied and feeling like you’re in the lone star state. Southern hospitality sticks out just as much as the food does.
