Booked the Main Dining Room for my daughters 1st Birthday party for about 40 people. The food, service and overall place is amazing. Mikaela is an amazing host, helped setup up a beautiful party. Great for small bites, pasta, seafood and cocktails. Highly recommend this one in Red Bank!

The initial impression of this restaurant is that of a yuppie bar. Young urban professionals gather around the bar in a very loud atmosphere (music and chatter). Once back on the restaurant, the noise level is a bit lower, however, it is still a bit loud for a dining area. The view over the Navesink is beautiful, but probably clearer in the cooler months when there’s less foliage impeding the view.

First time having breakfast (brunch) with Santa at this location, we did make a reservation. My Husband and I had a few drinks, there was a nice selection on the menu for the children & adults. The Elf who made balloon figurines for the kids was sooo nice & good at what he does! Our 2 boys were happy. I was able to capture some good photos. I’d definitely recommend this place if you’re looking for a nice scenery & atmosphere with your children!

Sarah was a great waitress! Cheerful and attentive! The roasted sea bass was divine. The view of the Navesink river was beautiful. The main seating area is a little loud. The upstairs is much quieter, but hard to reserve. We arrived at 11am. The main dining room was empty except for a huge table with teenagers and we were seated right next to them. When I requested a different table the maitre’d seemed irritated and said every table was reserved. In an empty restaurant I don’t understand the logic of seating a quiet party of 2 next to a huge load party of 10! She seemed resentful to seat us elsewhere. Very disappointed in her attitude. In the service industry being of service is an undervalued virtue. Instead of being positive, smiling and saying “let me see what we can do!”, She had a horrible attitude. Thank God Sarah made up for it with charm and kindness!

Hosted a graduation dinner in the private dining room. Christine helped my every step of the way. The server James assigned to my party was great to my guest. They allowed to me drop off my decorations the day before. It was set up right before I arrived. They also color coordinated menus and candles. The food and drinks were heavily complimented by all my guests. Will be hosting my Christmas party there.

I made a reservation for 2 people at 8:30, we arrived at 8:25 and were taken to our table immediately…the hostess takes us into the bar and seats us in a corner with deep couch like seats with a small round white table felt like a school desk and facing the back of the bar. I immediately expressed to the hostess not wanting to sit in the bar could we please be seated in one of the two dining rooms…she said no without checking with anyone. I took it upon myself to look at the 2 dining rooms, both had multiple tables open. I went to the front desk and asked again to please be moved there are many open tables. Now there’s 3 hostesses all very unaccommodating continually saying we stop seating at 8:45, we have other reservations and that I made my reservations the same day so I get the (lounge), I said you should state that when making the reservations. After basically begging to be moved they said they would check in on us in 10 minutes to see if the other reservations showed up…we sat there at the table waiting and of course no one came back, and not one other table was seated in that time…I went to the front desk again now it’s 8:45 to ask once more to please be moved, the 3 of them still standing there dumbfounded and refusing…so we just walked out and they couldn’t care less. Absolutely horrible customer service. Your experience starts with your hostesses, we eat in fine upscale restaurants every Saturday night and have never been treated so poorly!!! We walked right up the street to Char (without a reservation) and were seated in one minute in the dining room, wow go figure, I’m sure Char appreciate our business and $250 bill… Don’t waste your time in this want to be upscale restaurant.

1st visit w/reservation for early evening. The calamari appetizer was delicious. The menu had a lot to choose from, including linguini w/clams and shrimp scampi. It was delicious too. The dessert menu wasn’t as impressive but the expresso martini hit the spot!

We had a PHENOMENAL experience at 26 West On The Navesink for our Wedding Rehearsal Dinner! Mikaela walked us through the process of selecting food, table arrangements, custom details, etc. and made it so easy for us! The view from Rooftop River Room was incredible and it was such a beautiful night that we were able to have the glass garage doors open and had a breeze coming through. It is seriously worth every penny. The food was absolutely amazing – incredible filet mignon, raw bar welcome platter, and some really fun options for the appetizers which were all delicious. They did a wonderful job for setup (we had 23 guests total which fit very well in the space) and the service was outstanding. My husband and I are eager to get back for another meal in the near future! Thank you to all of the staff for helping us to have an amazing start to our wedding weekend 🙂
