We’ve wanted to try 2nd Language for a while and finally went the other night. It did NOT disappoint. We went in a Tuesday and were immediately seated. We had the best server. He was extremely personable and enjoyable to talk to. I believe his name was Jesse if i remember correctly. We started with the dumplings and they were the best that I’ve ever had. They came with delicious sauce. Then i ordered ahi tuna and my boyfriend ordered birria ramen. There were so many great choices tho. We will have to go back because there’s more we want to try. The portions are huge. I barely finished mine and my boyfriend brought some ramen home. We were too full for dessert but the options looked amazing. For a nicer sit down restaurant the prices were extremely reasonable.

Another great restaurant I tried during my travels for work. The service is top notch, the food is excellent, a great variety of drinks, and the dessert (The Toast especially) is out of this world good. I highly recommend this amazing restaurant. It’s very reasonably priced for the quality of food.

This place is really specialized in ramen. The service is quick, efficient and very kind. Definitely recommend this place. It’s also one of the few restaurants in Evansville where you can get bottled water. (My biggest pet peeve: I don’t like the smell of chlorine in tap water)

After my first visit here I left pretty happy. I’ll be coming back! We got seated quickly and the staff was super attentive, made great recommendations and delivered expectations. Prices are mid-high but the quality keeps up. We got our food pretty quickly. I enjoyed my meal, I tried the smoked ramen. Good portions and great flavor. The steak chimichurri was a good starter. As an added bonus there is a pangea pizza kitchen on the lower level. I’ll go there next. It’s not the most obvious place as it is located inside of “The Lofts” residential building. A few more advertising signs could book this place up!

I have been all over the world through Asia and hands down the Tan Tan is my top Three that I have ever had. The broth is so flavorful and the meat was tender and the veggies were cooked perfection. This is a place that Guy Fieri should feature in DDD …Laura was our server, she compliments the vibe as one of the friendless people I’ve ever met. If you see this review you need to make a stop you will not be disappointed!!!!!

If you want something a little different this is a good spot. Really delicious food, great service and a great little space. We had the pork gyoza, Ramen with shittake mushrooms, the pineapple fried rice, and the Japanese cheesecake for dessert.

Parking was easy. The atmosphere is definitely chill and classy. We ordered the vegan mushroom bun, they’re well seasoned, soft, and delicious. Then we both ordered the vegan ramen, it was absolutely fantastic. Well seasoned broth, not spicy but perfectly salty. I highly recommend stopping here if you have the chance. The owner is knowledgeable and committed to always having new vegan options. Many vegan and vegetarian options. Easy free parking in gravel lot, big enough for RVs or truck and trailer.
