2nd South Market, Idaho’s Original Food Hall, features 6 local food vendors offering Pizza, BBQ, Poke Bowls, Asian Fusion, Creperie, Coffee – as well as a full bar — all under one roof. 2nd South is family-friendly and is housed in a fully renovated 1926 former machine, blacksmith, boilermaker, welding and hardware building. The 13,000 square feet of indoor space features an open seating environment. The large 14,700 square feet of outdoor space – The Yard – is open spring to early fall – with live music, cornhole games, additional seating, firepits, community/private event space, and is dog friendly. The atmosphere is fantastic. The exposed beams, tin wall ornaments, old time placards, makes the place feel original and welcoming. The food was great. I had a simple cheeseburger and it was worth the money. Wings are crisp and flavorful and you can order just flats. (A favorite of mine). The pizza vendor has pizza by the pie or by the slice. 2 slices might as well be half a pizza in itself. There are crepes, Vietnamese noodle soup, sushi, and a coffee shop there all under one roof. I can’t recommend this place enough.

This is a super neat eatery with lots of options and plenty of seating. The bbq was better than I expected but I’d give it a heavy 3 as far as rating. The live music was great and I stuck around and downed a few more beers outside while enjoying it. Seemed to be a great place for all types of crowds families, business, or a great place for a date.

Enjoy the variety this place has! I have tried the BBQ, Chinese food, and poki! All three have been very good and the atmosphere is also very nice. Only thing is it is a bit overpriced on my opinion and always very packed. Other than that great place for lunch or dinner!

Waiting 15 minutes for a cinnamon roll because the employee left it in the microwave and took off and talked to someone else. For got all about it until she saw me. BBQ restaurant was closed a disappointed at 6pm. Drinks and pizza was great very quick

The BBQ place in this food hall was great! The only thing I wished was done differently was that the Texas Toast be actual toasted. It was soft white thick bread. Beer was great but bar was under staff which slowed them down. I would be back. The outside area was great!

This place is amazing!!! I don’t know why anyone would go anywhere else on a date with your spouse or loved one. No more “What do you feel like for dinner”. One of you can get some awesome sushi while the other gets some amazing smoked meat. And if that doesn’t fill you up you can get some pizza! And they have live music there on the weekends. There has honestly been some days I have been there for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and had something new and amazing for all three!!! Great place!!!!
