I’m from Houston Texas and I love BBQ. I’m always hesitant to eat BBQ east of the Mississippi. However this place did not disappoint at all. I had the brisket baked potato. The brisket is some of the best I’ve had. My wife and daughter had the sausage plate with Cornbread and they loved it.

Absolutely smacking to say the least! I got the Slab Wrap and Cornbread, and my wife got the Baked Potato with pulled pork. So good. We both rated it 10/10. Absolutely amazing. Great employees too. They’re all very polite and were working hard.

Amazing BBQ place with -of course- brisket and other choices. We had the brisket in NAAN bread. Very good and tasty and what I like at a good brisket is it must be with some natural moisture.

If you have a group, order the $100. special. Supposed to feed 4, it was over 6 meals for us. Brisket seemed a little dry, easy fixed with Xtra sauce. Cole slaw is the Southern vinegar dressing. All was good. The beans were sweet enough to be dessert.

We were visiting from Mississippi and came the 2nd day after they reopened. Food & service could’ve been better. The baked beans tasted burnt like they were scooped up from the bottom of the pan. Mac & cheese tasted like box macaroni. The only thing that was good was the chicken and sausage.

I placed a to-go order yesterday evening, July 5th and unfortunately was terribly disappointed. For $29, I received open faced chicken that was definitely not pulled and was hard, dry, cold and had no flavor. I didn’t end up eating the chicken. The shells and cheese explains itself and that too was cold. The pork was pulled but no real flavor and was cold. Slaw was vinegar based and was ok…too much vinegar in my opinion and was better on the sandwich then by itself. We added our own Wickle Pickles for a little kick to the pork sandwich. I had asked for pickles and didn’t get those.

It was great food. We got to go, so I don’t know about the service or the atmosphere, my husband went in and ordered and brought the food out am we went home. We had the loaded baked potato with sausage. The sausage was a bit spicy but it did have a good flavor. We will eat there again.

We ate at three sons on day five of their opening. I got the half chicken. Delicious. The sweet and tangy barbecue sauce is some of the best I’ve had. My husband got the pulled pork and gave it a 10. My mother got the slab wrap with pulled chicken and Brunswick stew. She also rated both a 10. The only negative review would be the sides which really need some improvement! The barbecue baked beans and the macaroni and cheese were not good at all. Overall, the smoked meats and the Brunswick stew are wonderful! The service was also great, as was the atmosphere. We will definitely be back!
