I used to come to the Sandstone as a kid, so I am glad it is fairly similar with its new owners and name! It is slightly overpriced, but it is still quite tasty. The shrimp alfredo, jalapeno smothered chicken, and blt were all yummy. The salads were delicious as well. I loved the blue cheese dressing. They have a house spice on the table which was special.

Very good food, friendly service, and reasonable prices. Our group of four had a variety of entrees and desserts and all was delicious. Definitely the best dining option we’ve found during our stay in Burwell.

We stopped here for lunch on our way through town. My husband had a hamburger. I had a salad with grilled chicken. Both were delicious. The lemon meringue pie was excellent!!

We had two fish dinners. Onion petals were ok for appetizer. Server was friendly. Fish came out burnt. One piece inedible. Other 3 pieces had to dig fish out of the burnt breading. We were told that the fish was new and the cook hadn’t figured out how to cook it yet??? Should have refused to accept it. Were not comped or offered free desert.

Stopped in for lunch with a large group passing through and they were very welcoming and ready for us when we got there. The food (including the awesome pie selection) and service were great! Will definitely be back when in the area again.

My family and I ate supper there last night. The food was excellent. We had a steak and chicken fried steak and both melted in your mouth. Our waitress was very friendly and prompt. I would highly recommend this place.

Worse Prime Rib I have ever had. First received it cold let waitress know they microwaved it and brought the same steak back it was so gross. I didn’t even eat it after the first bite and they still charged me. Will never go back.
