I ordered takeout from this restaurant and the food was definitely packaged well. The sides were really good but the chicken was overly salty. Perfectly fried but the taste was a little overwhelming…I’ll try them out again and choose something different.

The name of this place states it all, 31 Flavors. I ordered the Turkey Wings, with Mac and Cheese and Strings Beans and I can honestly say that I was not disappointed in any way. Between the flavorful taste of the food and the amount that I was given I will most certainly be a regular here. Also when I ordered my dessert, the Banana Pudding, OMG. It reminded me of the one my Mother used to make. So good and creamy and none of that box Pudding stuff. Just everything so fresh and so tasteful. All I can say is that any one eating from here will not be disappointed.

The food Looks Great!! The chicken wings are well fried and crispy but nothing has flavor. I thought i had gotten covid again until i bit into the honey cornbread muffin. The muffin is the only thing i can give a star to bc the rest of it just looked good. Tasted like pure dissapointment. I mean no salt, pepper or nothing. Has potential though.

I’m from the south and this is some of the worse soul food I’ve eaten. Chicken was fried too hard and very salty. And I don’t know who the guy is that brings the food out, but he is very rude and arrogant. I won’t be back.

Had my first experience at 31 Flavors soul food kitchen and I can’t wait to eat there again. Very professional and the food I can’t even describe how good it was. My mom who is a picky eater was blown away by the baked turkey wings. The sides are phenomenal. I had the whiting plate with cabbage and yamallow. Everything was delicious. Next I want to try the pork chops or fried chicken. I know the mac and cheese going to be da bomb.com

Catered from 31 Flavors and loved it! I chose to do pick up, and the food was well packaged, so no car spills. The food was absolutely delicious, and the owner was very professional and easy to work with. I can’t wait to go back to try more.

I am only giving them 2 stars because of the yams. I Ordered a smothered pork chop plate. They literally dipped a grilled to beyond DRY pork chop into some watered down gravy and put it on a plate (no breading, not deep fried which makes it not a smothered pork chop by southern standards) the pork chop was tough and dry. I Decided to give it a try & I know what I will not be trying again

I am disabled and live in a nursing home and the food here is horrible so when my family put money on my card I get me a soul food meal I’m not from Charlotte so I don’t know about the restaurants here I tried 2 other places and they were good and worth the money the pork chops I got from here had to be some of the thinnest and most dry I have had mac and cheese and cabbage ok but I’ll stick to chicken box for big juicy pork chops. REALLY good. We got the jerk wings, yellow rice, crab mac and cheese, BBQ pulled pork mac and cheese bowl, collared greens, and banana pudding. And my wings came with cornbread. Everything was unbelievably good. This will be a regular spot for us and I can’t wait to try everything else on the menu.
