Came here for my birthday with my girlfriend. Our server and host, Chris, was super nice and attending. Food was amazing, really romantic atmosphere, and they even gave us complimentary champagne and beignets! Recommend anyone to come here for the service and great food.

It was my first night in New Orleans & stumbled across this uniquely decorated restaurant. Our server was amazing in fact since we were new to the area let us sample a drink we had never had before which we thought was nice. Most places don’t typically offer. Their gumbo was full of flavor if you visit New Orleans definitely stop by and check them out

Decided to try this new restaurant on Valentine’s day and was pleasantly surprised. Reserved table was ready ahead of time and they texted to confirm I was on the way or ready to check in early. The waitress was so charismatic and also started us with free shots to try the bartender’s concoction of the day. I went with a Mardi Gras Mambo cocktail and it was strong but tasteful. The menu is short but everything is packed with bold flavors and carefully plated. Decor is great, seats are comfortable and noise level is low, easy to have conversations. I would definitely go back.

We stumbled upon 3rd Block while looking for SoBou, which, I think, is a rebranding of the spot? The design of the place was perfect for a date, we visited in daytime but I think it looks even more intimate and contemporary in nighttime. Cocktails were great and they have a “creation of the day”, which changes daily! This place serves a real gumbo, full of flavor and thickness, yum! Also highly recommend seared scallops and Brussels sprouts, those are divine. Our servers Chris approached the menu introduction with a lot of detail, it’s great to see someone who really cares for the spot and menu it presents. We’re happy!

We made a reservation for 3 at 8:30PM once we walked in it was as though they were closing up which is understandable but they are listed to close at 10pm the fact that we were not told that was concerning because we felt very rushed so once the food came out we thought all would be okay I ordered crabs cakes that came out cold like two small flat cold “crab cakes” so my friend ordered the crawfish dip the dip itself was great the little crostinis were stale not edible like literally about to chip a tooth biting into one , so on to cocktails Doctors Orders amazing would recommend, Rita Alexander was okay but that Solstice Party taste like bbq baked beans if your into that perfect if not it’s a no no very disappointing overall experience

Atmosphere and service were really lovely. Better and cocktails were what you’d expect from a nice dinner spot.

Gets busy. Service is professional, on point and congenial. Drinks were Blackberry Smash a few ways: Knobs Creek, Buffalo Trace, Japanese Sakura (favorite) and with Patron.

Delightful fish dinner in a carefully curated dining space.

Expensive and pretensious. The taste was OK, but definitely not worth the price tag. Plus it was very little food – even for french standards. The waiter spoke very fast and mumbled. We could not understand most of what he said. I added a picture of a starter. Three (yes, three) scallops and two mushroom heads for US19,00. A rip-off by all standards.
