It was pretty good. I was looking for a more eventful bbq experience as first time in Texas, but was just like any other BBQ joint back in Tennessee. Could use more sauce options. I assume their pulled pork good, but I did not try. Luckily, I had plenty of tobasco.

If I could give them 10 stars I would! We visit family in the area and were looking for good southern BBQ- I ran across 4T’s on Google & decided to try it. The brisket, the pulled pork, the Mac- everything was amazing! Great, great smoke flavor! My husband said it’s better than Lockhart – and it’s too bad we don’t live closer. Will definitely eat here again when we are back again!!

4 It’s is easily my second favorite place to eat in Forney. It is BBQ done right. I’ve had other things there (that are all good BTW), but my hands down favorite is their Texas Fries. How can you go wrong with french fries, cheese and meat? They pile the meat high to make it a very filling meal. It was so filling that I had to take my desert to go. The meal itself was about $10, and with a drink and dessert I was closer to $15 (I don’t remember the exact amount). If you are looking for great BBQ in Forney, this is the place. UPDATE: I’ve recently had their 2 meat plate, burger and brisket grilled cheese sandwiches. I haven’t had anything here that I didn’t like. Update: I just tried their Turkey club sandwich. You owe it to yourself to try it. Super moist smoked turkey, bacon, swiss cheese, lettuce tomato and a southwest sauce on grilled Texas toast. Yum! I was sad when it was gone.

Went today for the first time in a long time and was told they don’t serve the brisket potatoes anymore not a huge deal but it still makes me mad. But it was the attitude of the owners that is why I won’t be returning. Just grumpy attitude. Wasn’t a pleasant experience like it used to be. And way too expensive for not even getting to eat what I came for

Wow this place is great. Brisket reminds me of Pecan Lodge and I would put it at number 2 in the DFW area. Crunchy bark, dark, delicious. Black gold if you ask me. That’s how I like my brisket. Pulled pork is delicious and the smoked turkey is crazy good (I got an end cut, omg thank you lord).

My husband and I are HUGE fans of Hard Eight BBQ. We tried 4-T’S for the first time today and it was the most delicious BBQ we’ve ever had! The sides were better than anywhere. The baked beans were flavorful and the potato salad was unbelievable. The okra was light and crispy! The brisket was tender and packed with flavor. The burnt ends were the highlight of the meal. Soooo delicious!
