Got the 200° Leg Quarter, crunch was awesome and it was served so hot and fresh the temp made it hard to eat it at first. The heat level was just right for me, but equivalent to “medium” at many other popular spots. The atmosphere was very simplistic- think like high school cafeteria- probably a 2, but it was clean and the artwork that was painted on the walls was interesting which improved it. Service was good, a employee from the back came out to take my order immediately, and a friendly man came out and brought my food to the table and informed me that if I ordered online next time, my food wouldn’t take so long to come out- (I did wait about 15 mins for my food, but was told that wait time when I ordered). Overall I’d go back and enjoy again, but consider take out as the dining area leaves a bit to be desired.

OMG this chicken is so so good! Seems like every order is cooked on the spot. The chicken was so hot that we were burning our fingers the entire time. We had plain, 100 and 200 degrees. All of it was delicious! The potato salad was so good, we’re still thinking about it. Love these type of places. I can’t wait to visit again when I go back to Nashville.

The chicken is decent but not amazing and definitely not worth how long we waited. I went in and ordered strips and a breast at 100 degrees and it took 45 minutes. The lady that took my order was friendly. I chose to wait in my car, as the inside had an odd smell to me. 100 degrees was just enough. It was mild but definitely had a kick. I did feel like the chicken was lacking overall flavor and really just had spice.

This place is absolutely ridiculous with their service. Ordered online for a pickup time of 2:55 and food still took 30 more minutes to get ready. Mind you I ordered the food an hour in advance. I will not be supporting this business anymore. Every single time my order is late and they don’t seem to care. They don’t offer a discount or even a free item nothing. Her prices are already high compared to other spots not to mention her ridiculous hours. I try to support black businesses but then this is the service I get. She should be ashamed to be running a business this way. They don’t value customers or their time here so they won’t be getting my money anymore.

THE best hot chicken in Nashville. And I stand by that. The owner is super nice and welcoming she’s always there to make everyone feel like family! The spicy fries are amazing and highly recommended. it’s also very affordable. Definitely worth the drive to the north side. The inside also has some really cool murals (especially near the bathrooms) love 400 degrees!

Just ate at 400 Degrees for the first time. The chicken was cooked to perfection and the spice was insane. If you want the best and hottest chicken in Nashville, this is the place to go. Even though it was super hot, the flavor of the chicken came through in an outstanding way. The owner and staff are incredibly friendly. This is my favorite hot chicken restaurant that I have been to in Nashville so far.

This is the best chicken I’ve ever had in my life, hands down. It’s not even close. I was doing a cross-country trip and had to stop in Nashville for some classic hot chicken and gave 400 degrees a try. When I walked in, I was greeted like I was a family member coming in who they hadn’t seen in a while. Aqui and her team gave me the warmest welcome I have ever experienced at a restaurant and checked up on me several times during the meal to make sure it was good. I loved the place so much I even asked for a T-shirt and although they didn’t have any for sale, Aqui went into the back and grabbed one out and gave it to me free of charge. This place is a true winner. They cook everything fresh and make their food with love. It wasn’t just the best chicken I’ve ever had, but the best overall food experience I have ever had. I am coming back to Nashville soon just to come here again, and show my friends how great it is. To Aqui and her team, thank you all for such a great time, I enjoyed every minute of it!
