Very disappointing place. I posted on their Facebook trying to resolve and post was deleted and reviews taken down. I got the crab dip app previously and got what is pictured below. A crab dip bagel. I was told by the owner it is toasted in an oven and seasoned well with heavy amounts of cheese and crab. The picture says otherwise. The place is misleading, overpriced, cold food, and bad service. I will not be back.

First time visiting, but a nice halfway point between D.C. and the Delaware shore. Stopped in and grabbed a bite, great service. The best part was my burger was a proper medium, as ordered. We’ll be back.

It’s been quite a while since I have been there. Food is a bit on the expensive side though good eating. Service is a bit rough as they do not have enough help to handle the patrons so if you’re in a hurry, I’d say wait until you have the time to sit back and watch the hustle & bustle; It is worth the wait. Parents bring their children… personally I don’t think it’s the best environment even if they are not seated near the bar. Guess I’m too old school.

My daughter wanted to go here for her birthday so we gave it a try. We were seated promptly and were served our drinks. Placed our order and waited 45 min, still no appetizer. Waitress kept telling us that it was coming and she was sorry for the wait. Waited an additional 15 minutes, still noting! Attempted to pay for our drinks which she said was on the house and left. Will never go here again!

Love the openness of this dining/bar area. Original review was Great Food; but, I believe 404 Taphouse is under new management because favorite items-Asian Salad and Onion rings w/Sirachi Ketchup are NOT on Menu. The service was slow & my order was wrong. To top off night, I was totally chilled to bone when we left after being there 1.5hrs, not busy, for hamburger & salad.

The food is definitely not worth the price ordered the fried pickles and for $9 I got a small portion and the Mac and cheese burger for $13 was basically flaverless and the one flavor I got was the burger patty which wasn’t even as good as something I could make at home for a quarter of the price. Whats worse the food wasn’t hot ….The place wasn’t even half full ….. With the new updates and new menus I had high hopes that I would like the enjoy it but sadly I will be passing up on this place in favor of the pub or basically anywhere with warm less expensive food! For a $22 meal I at least want it to be warm and if it could taste good that would be nice!!! Either they need to lower their pricing or they need to hire a better cook! The waitress was nice which was the only reason they got two stars out of me !

Wonderful dinning experience. We enjoyed the blooming onion and fried pickles appetizers followed by my mouth watering prime rib cooked to true perfection! My fiance enjoyed his Chesapeake chicken with top notch Mac and cheese! John, Michelle and Sheryal are doing an amazing job and I’m happy to congratulate all of them on the new grand reopening.

Horrible. Been 3 different times. First times, waitress was rude, food was edible, nothing great. Second time took forever to get food out, and the waitress was horrible. Third time sat down, and placed our ordered. Three tables that came in after us ordered got their food, ate food, paid then left. We had just got our appetizers (nachos) as the third table was walking out the door. Paid for appetizers then left. NEVER going back.
