Located in the bowling alley parking lot, 42 Diner is easy to spot. My wife and I stepped in picked our table, and were quickly received by our waitress. My wife got the Taco bowl, it was good, but I got the special, Old Fashioned Chicken Salad. I chose a side of fried okra instead of fries. Talk about rapture! The taste was amazing! I was speechless. I could have liked my plate, but it wasn’t sloppy. We split the Honeybun cake for dessert. It was ‘melt in your mouth’ and, ‘love at first bite’.

42 diner is always a good place to grab a bite to eat. The wait staff is always super friendly. The food is always good, and even when it’s busy the food always seems to come out super fast. If you’re wanting good breakfast and you’re down that way, make sure to stop in!!!

Stopped here on a trip to North Carolina. The service was great. Everyone was friendly from the customers to the waitresses. The oil the kitchen used to cook the home fries, pancakes, eggs, and biscuits wasn’t for stomach sensitive people! It was an ordeal to get butter. They served vegetable oil spread with the toast and biscuits. The banana pudding was fabulous!!

Dining here is always an enjoyable experience. The restaurant is very clean and has a relaxed atmosphere. The waitresses are friendly and attentive. The menu has a large variety of options and the food is excellent. Portions are on the large size with prices on the reasonable side. Don’t leave without one of their many delicious desserts.
