What a wonderful dining experience it was to have dinner at 481 Gourmet! We were very pleasantly surprised by the delicious food and the very attentive staff. We were greeted upon entering by the manager and the owner was also there. We learned that it is under new ownership. 481 Gourmet does not disappoint. We will certainly come back! The menu choices are great. We were told that they will also add some seasonal menu items. Eleanor was our waitress and she was the best. We also had Veronica attend to us. Very professional staff and very yummy food. Highly recommend trying to the bread pudding for dessert! It is big enough to share and heavenly! They also have a large private dining room where there was a birthday celebration being held that night we were there. 481 Gourmet gets a 5 star from us!!

I had the best time having dinner with my coworkers. From the wine selection until the dessert part. The place has a such good vibe and ambient, it’s definitely delightful. The goat cheese appetizer is simply delicious (and I’m not a goat cheese fan). I can’t wait to come back and try more of their menu.

Chance was an excellent waiter! Drinks were amazing and unique! Highly recommend the 481. Meals were not only delicious, but beautiful presentation! Attach photo is the watermelon basil salad. Excellent! They also take reservations! Worth a visit before the snowbirds return

I had halibut on risotto. The dish, service, and atmosphere were outstanding. It is a next level restaurant with a very professional and knowledgeable manager ( Anthony knows his wines), professional servers, and a culinary institute trained real chef (Chef Spencer). The owner VV is also to be commended and congratulated for bringing Sarasota a real 5 star fine dining experience.

Beautiful restaurant. We set outside for a late dinner. Right from the start the service was outstanding. I ordered scallops with corn risotto and mussels for appetiser. Both were rich in flavours, perfectly cooked. Espresso crème brûlée was an excellent sweet ending to our dinner. Definitely recommending this gem!

Amazing. New chef and menu. The apps sounded so great we just decided to get 6 of them and no entrees. It was a great call. Every single one was perfect – scallop, meatball, devil egg, crab cake, breads, baked Brie, watermelon salad. We have lived in Sarasota 30 years and this is now in our Top 5 restaurants.
