Food and staff are great! We always have a great experience. Typically go for breakfast, but their lunches are great as well. Really good chicken sandwich and good tarter sauce.

Ordered take out for breakfast. Order was done in less than 15minutes. Food was pretty simple, but got the job done. Pancakes were delicious. I ordered my hash browns well done and they were close to raw and were not seasoned. That being said they actually tasted like raw potatoes so I wonder of they make them fresh in house? I probably will go back if I want quick and cheap breakfast.

The owners and staff are really nice, and they took the time to ask and remember our names. The restaurant is clean and bright. Breakfast is always amazing and we have had some good lunches too. My family’s favorite is the breakfast sandwich with a fried egg, sausage (they load it with 2 big patty’s) and dress it with melted cheese, lettuce, tomato, and mayo on a bagel. It’s giant and so so good!!

I go in there at least twice a week. I love taking my family there and the cook Robert has become a favorite. He and his wife ensure you are full and happy when you leave. The fresh corned beef skillet is the best.

Wanted to give 5 Star a try for breakfast, the coffee and decaf coffee were good. I had a waffle which was very good, and they either use real maple suryp, or a very good fake. Eggs and bacon are average. Wife ordered her hashbrowns extra crispy and they weren’t. Good price for the quality and quantity of food. We’ll add this place to our regular breakfast rotation.

Meh. I guess I should have ordered breakfast and maybe they would have gotten a better review. I ordered wing dings and cheese fries. The fries weren’t as expected. Its battered fries. It’s was satisfying but I wouldn’t have ordered cheese fries if I knew they’d be battered. fries. The wings were typical wings. Nothing special. I will return to try breakfast items. Food was okay just didn’t exceed expectations. If I want brunch or lunch I’d go up the street to Donnas diner.

Pretty solid food, but they’ve raised prices recently to the point that it’s not even worth coming here over National Coney or Travis Coffee shop anymore. Absolutely nothing stands out here that makes them a better alternative since their menu is pretty standard fair. Pretty disappointing. Also the prices on the menu are a lie. Was charged $1.50 more for breakfast than what shows on the menu. The 5 Star breakfast was $5.99 a few years ago and is now $11.50 ($9.99 on the menu) (national stills sells the standard “big breakfast” for $8.99). Don’t give me this COVID BS, food costs have not gone up so bad that you have to literally double the price. What a shame.

My dad’s favorite spot for biscuits and gravy! It was clean, all the wait staff was friendly, and the food was great. I had the french toast (made with Texas toast) it was super fluffy and soft with crisp edges, made perfectly.
