Finally got to try this place. Ever since it opened a few years back I’ve wanted to go, it’s obviously a great spot on the lake with a great deck and gorgeous views. Unfortunately for me, I went on a day when it was pouring rain, so I didn’t get the full experience.

The atmosphere is amazing—just the classic (more upscale) American lakeside restaurant. Beautifully decorated inside. I would sit inside because you can still get a view through the bar, there’s AC, and not nearly as many bugs as I encountered while under the tent. That was definitely a con but not really controllable. As for the food, you have the standard higher scale American food. The bang bang shrimp was good as well as the crab dip. My burger was a little too rare and raw feeling in my mouth… luckily, John, our wonderful server got that taken off the check as I took maybe two bites.

What an unsuspecting, vibrant stop for great food and even better views. From the moment you walk in, 550 Waterfront is an inviting experience. Lofted ceilings above a bright space vector guests out to a sprawling deck above Saratoga Lake.

Food was great service was a little bit slow but they were very busy. The atmosphere with the Saratoga track being open, made the open atmosphere seem crowded. We’ve dined here and hung out with friends offseason and it’s a much more pleasing environment. The staff is always attentive, the food is delicious and beer is always ice cold.

More seating than we expected on a nice Tuesday afternoon! We were given both indoor and outdoor seating options (we picked outside). Staff was friendly and attentive. The food was delicious. Both cocktails were also very good. We would definitely go again!

Waited over 30 minutes for the first available four top table. All absolutely fine. The table we were offered was dirty and right at the front door, vestibule area. Loud, chaotic. Politely declined, for the next available/ other table. They proceeded to seat several other parties checked in after us, of two, at four top tables, within a not full restaurant. At booths, outside etc… and Moved us to 20 minutes out, again.. No one was sat at the door table. I was not a jerk about the table. This is so UNPROFESSIONAL. I understand pacing the kitchen, and waitstaff sections, I have been there. If the table was acceptable they could have seated the next two top at the table at the door, if they felt this was a great idea. The passive aggressive behavior was not appreciated. My dad is visiting and we preferred a table were we could actually hear him talk. You need to train the young ladies at the front desk to act like adults. Not impressed, AT ALL. Have no desire to return, purely based on service. Waitress is was fine.

Got off early from work and ventured to Saratoga Lake. Had heard about this place from a friend. He raved about it. Did not disappoint. Right on the water. Lively on a Friday before Memorial Day weekend. Sat at the outdoor side of the bar. Great views, friendly staff and great food! I had the Nashville chicken sandwich. Nice and crispy and their white bbq sauce was money! Fries were crispy. Came out really quickly even though they were busy. Very friendly vibe all around. Rob at the bar was outstanding. The blonde ale I had from the Druthers line up was refreshing and good for a sunny day. Decent cocktail menu. Smoked Paloma was delish. My last beer I had down on the water where there are several Adirondack chairs. Look at the boats on the dock and unwind. Can’t wait to come back for dinner. Diverse and cool crowd. Come in shorts or dressed to the nines, you’ll fit right in either way.

It was a very nice place. The ambiance is excellent. The service was average. Real young people working the hostess station that really don’t know how to handle people but even then it’s always busy so that’s not a big deal.

Druthers is a popular local chain in Upstate NY, with this being one of their newest location. All the great beers on tab! Food is delicious and fresh. You go for the beautiful views of Saratoga Lake and modern, chic atmosphere. It pays to make reservations beforehand.
