74 Smokehouse was established in 2022 by three high school buddies who graduated in 1974. A fourth ’74 classmate helps out in our shipping department. The baby of the group is a 1979 graduate. After years of cooking and eating exceptional meat, the group decided to open a smokehouse.
Through much prayer and direction, 74 Smokehouse is now a reality. The mission of 74 Smokehouse is to share our faith through smoking delicious whole cuts of meat. Each order is personally prepared by us older gentlemen.
Our facility is located in Tarrant County, TX. We cook and sell to local folks and ship our products smoked, blast chilled, frozen and sealed to customers outside our area.

The smoked beef tenderloin from 74 Smokehouse is incredible. The rub and smoke did not overpower the meat at all- it was incredibly delicious and satisfying. The beef tenderloin was melt in your mouth tender. My family of four got two meals out of the smoked tenderloin. For what you get, the value is unbelievable. The tenderloin comes halved, so we froze one half and ate the other same day. The frozen half was just as fresh and delicious as the half I ate on the day it was cooked. It even tasted better served cold. Thawing the frozen half took about 3 hours, making it a convenient no-cook dinner option, especially in the heat of the summer. The ordering process was simple, and pickup was a breeze. Overall, highly recommend the 74 Smokehouse smoked beef tenderloin. It’s flavorful, tender, and a great value.

74 Smokehouse is the real deal! Everything from start to finish is done right: easy to order, easy to get, and very easy to eat. I can not say enough about how well the tenderloin was prepared…smoked to perfection. Personally I have never been a huge fan of tenderloin until now, this thing seriously melts in your mouth. It was plenty of food for my wife and I to have both dinner and lunch the next day (off one half). I would highly recommend giving 74 smokehouse a shot! My family and I cant wait to get another mouth watering tenderloin.
