Tom made our first experience of 740 Front, perfect! My wife took me here for my 34th Birthday & we will most definitely be back. My filet was perfectly cooked & the wine pairing suggested by Tom was on point. My wife said her meatloaf melted in her mouth. 10 out of 10 worth it!

As far as the staff, cocktails and atmosphere go, this place is a ten! Our servers were so kind and patient with our larger group, making jokes along with us and good-naturedly putting up with our jokes and banter as we consumed our second cocktails. The drinks were really good as well. We admired the old wooden bar and asked questions about it’s history. What was disappointing was that the food wasn’t great. My husband and I shared the flatiron steak, which was good and cooked mid-rare, just like we asked but it wasn’t anything special. But we also ordered the mashed potatoes which were really dry and unseasoned. Almost as if they mashed them but then didn’t add any butter, milk or salt. The people we were with ordered pastas and a couple of the bison steaks. they said they were really dry and chewy and the pasta was overcooked and mushy. The lamb chop appetizer was really tasty though. It’s just that for the price of these steaks, they should have been much better than they were.

This place is absolutely wonderful. I brought my wife here for her birthday last night and had a great time with excellent food and great service. Thomas, our waiter was very friendly, knowledgeable and was very attentive. This was our third visit and we have never been disappointed. We will continue to come back. Our favorites are the pork chop and the homemade meatloaf. Please give it a try.
