Man 5 star solid. I’ve been to this place 6 times and every visit was just as good. I have to say this is absolutely the best truck stop in the Midwest. Food is fire, staff is amazing and the chef takes pride in every meal he/she serves. I absolutely love dining and resting at this location. You guys are what truckers need!!!

Despite only 4-5 workers being there the night my friend and I came in, the food was great, the waitress was very nice! Only place that’s open 24 hours, which was great cause being from out of town I didn’t realize everything else closed so early! I’d definitely come back if I was in the area!

I read the reviews before I went. They were not wrong. I was served enough food for three people. All of it was hot and fresh and tasted very good. Value was good too. My waitress was outstanding and very friendly. It is a rare thing to be able to have a good experience in any restaurant anymore, and to have one at a truck stop is just amazing!

It was very busy, but we were able to get a seat at the counter quickly. I wasn’t fond of the egg on the omelet, and my fault I forgot to ask if the mushrooms were fresh and they were canned, but the sausage gravy was phenomenal, the hash browns with onions were amazing, the sausage was very flavorful and my husbands breakfast came with a large, full slice of ham. Service was excellent, they were very busy, but she was definitely on her game. Orders were coming out of the kitchen kind of crazy, a couple that came in way after us, got their food before us. We had already ordered well before they were even seated, so it was strange, but it was also crazy busy, line out the door, people standing outside.

Randomly stopped here for breakfast. Family/Kiddo friendly. Amazing staff! All very friendly and attentive. Angie was aweosme. Food was delicious and way more than we could eat. We had a miscommunication on toast (100% our fault) and ended up with a lot. So he built a house and Angie made it into a dinosaur cave. We will definitely be going again!

I was really looking forward to trying this place again. It’s been years, and I know it’s gotten a lot of acclimation. I honestly wasn’t overly impressed. The food was okay. I got corned beef hash, eggs, and toast. All adequate but nothing to rave about. The service was pleasant but nothing to rave about. I had to ask for a refill on my coffee. At a place like this I should expect my coffee to be kept full and hot. The decor is practically non-existent. They could pack up and leave overnight and you’d never know they were there. Everything was adequate.

This is our 2nd visit, a couple years apart. Once again we were very pleased with everything! I ordered the steak & mushroom omelette with sourdough toast and hash browns with onions and cheese. My husband had the chicken & waffles. Both were delicious and I have half of mine left for later!! We sat at the counter and Susan was excellent! Hope to get back through here again soon!!

There wasn’t a whole lot of places open late, and we were recommended to try this place. Boy were we pleasantly surprised! Has a very cool old diner feel including the old bar style seats, booths and tables. There were a lot of places to sit and a lot of them were full. We didn’t sit until almost 10pm and the place was pretty busy. Must definitely be a local hot spot. Our server was extremely awesome and friendly. The food was exactly what you would expect from a diner, it was great. Got the fish and chips basket, and it was really good. Also the “big daddy” was super good and enough to feed two people. Would most certainly visit this place again.
