Hey y’all, so my cousin and I went here for happy hour. Honestly I don’t know where to start. The bartender was filthy, I’m so disgusted. We watched him sniff everyone’s drink at the bar. The bartender also taste tasted everyone’s drink with a straw. Drinks tasted like gasoline. Wings were undercooked. -10000/10

We went to 80 Proof for the happy hour and I must admit they really make nice drinks and their house wine (Chardonnay) was great. I really didn’t enjoy the food hence my low score. We had the buffalo chicken sliders (beyond spicy) and chicken tacos (ultra dry)which were both disappointing. I would like to say that Melissa M. was very thoughtful and gave the tables around us excellent service – thank you to her! We missed the mark to take a second order of drinks and we were given a round on the house. Maybe next time I’ll try other dishes and raise my score

I absolutely love the hosted Karen, she was very hospitable and gave a warm welcome. Anya, our waitress, server was amazing! She made sure that we were comfortable, checked on us in true fashion, and insured that we had everything we needed, including making us aware of the most popular food and beverages. Such a delight. We will be coming back again as usual.

We celebrated my sister’s birthday here on her actual bday, 6/20. Party of 12. Everything was great; mood, service, drinks, atmosphere. We enjoyed taking pictures outside before dinner and inside while waiting. Laughed sharing memories and catching up. It all went downhill once the food arrived. I have never sent a meal back, but personally I could not tolerate the taste of the Cajun shrimp pasta. 3/4 who ordered same dish agreed. It happens, no biggie. I settled on the fish tacos. However, I immediately lost my appetite when my nephew, seated across from me pointed out bugs on his garlic parmesan wings. He had just finished his ceaser salad topped with blackened mahi fish (he loved it). His wings were last to reach our table. We wondered why he didn’t eat the wings. When urged to explain why he declined to get a togo container. He responded “you don’t see all these bugs on them? I’m good.” The server apologized, quickly removing plate from table. So sorry, no picture. Our waiter apologized, offered reason as kitchen door was open. Idk about that; the bug I saw (black, size of adult ant) appeared cooked with wing. He said the others were moving. Our waiter previously mentioned the owner was the chef. A celebration occasion, you would think the owner/chef come out and offer my sister an apology, complimentary of sort; something. Nope. A candle lit slice of cake (my sis ordered & paid for) was served to her in the mix of her checking her own GP wings and assuring her son was ok. Her facial expression said it all. Happy time had expired. The bug infested wings were removed from the bill. Check was paid. The end. As for me, I will not return. Unfortunately, I would not recommend this establishment.

The staff was friendly, the prices are very reasonable and I enjoyed the sliders. The Cajun fries were very yummy. I got a burger to go and it was devored and proclaimed “awesome” by a hungry, picky teenager. A good option for a casual bite in New Haven.

Meal with friends was very good, although drink service was a little sluggish… I had the Summer in New Haven; very tasty and refreshing. For an appetizer I had the Champagne Oysters which were fantastic! Followed up with an order of the Cajun Shrimp Alfredo which was also very good with large pieces of shrimp. Overall good…will go back the next time I’m in town. Great corner location for a restaurant with nearby parking garage.

Myself and 2 of my friends went here for my birthday this past weekend. We tried to get dinner here and I emphasize *tried*. It was awful. We decided to sit outside and everytime the wind blew it smelled like old urine from the bus stop that the patio is backed up to. We were given a dirty water glass with a lipstick mark on the rim.

I am a huge fan of te amo and barracuda so I had high expectations. Had a great experience during happy hour! We sat at the bar so we can’t speak to the table service but our bartender was so friendly- i wish I remembered his name! He was so attentive, but not overly so and he made great conversation with us. He made some good drink recommendations as well.
