Food was great! Especially the pate! Probably the best one I’ve had in any Boston restaurant. I ordered the honey glazed duck breast, it was cooked perfect I just wished it was less sweet.

Fresh, interesting food, and excellent recommendations for pairing entrees with wine. It can get a bit noisy when full. The photo is of the beet salad with salmon, delicious!

Such a gem in Concord! Food is so delicious and beautifully presented with farm fresh vegetables. Bartender knows what they are doing as well. Really wonderful cocktails, and my husband is impressed with their wine list, which is difficult to do! Just wished their menu had more choices.

We had a nice time and what seemed to be excellent food at 80 Thoreau. I ate fish while my friends ate something else.

First time I ate there…nice place, good food, but I am a PIA and offer as much advice and critique customer feedback as I receive for my work everyday. So here it is: you need some bourbon mixed drinks and perhaps a brandy and scotch selection on the menu, that’s almost a must these days. Also, remove broccoli from fish plates, it’s too standard and overpowering…go with a milder tasting green like bok choy or even sweet like a sliced yam, cauliflower. Add more or all three to improve color…maybe a shiitaki to provide more depth. The anchovie salad needs a complete overhaul. I have had the best in Naples and the worst Texas. This is somewhere in between. Needs lot’s of Romain, croutons should be larger because they get soggy quick, also the red cabbage is a nice touch for color but it was carried away and reminded me of a bank landscape. Use extra virgin olive oil ( the real stuff ), larger softer croutons, shaved manchego or a light pecorino and use whole sliced anchovies…the real fish (get em right down the road in Concord at that fancy new supermarket). OK, I did enough…lol! It was overall good though, thanks. I enjoyed.

We had a wonderful dinner experience. The service was excellent and everything we tried tasted delicious. I enjoyed the duck breast and the semifredo. We look forward to going to this restaurant again.

Quaint place with the price to match. Crispy soft shell was very tasty though we wished we had more for it. Sea bass was boneless but was a bit dry and vegetables a little bland. Grilled pork was perfectly cooked and support was nice.

The highlights from our amazing meal were the chicken liver mousse and the hangar steak. Layering the toast with the blueberry mustard, mousse, pickled rhubarb, then micro greens created a perfect bite. The hangar steak was medium rare inside with a gorgeous char on the outside. The heirloom tomato salad, scallops, and desserts were also solidly delicious.
