Some friends and i went to see an amazing band here at Cuba Cubana on a beautiful sunday, at The Ventura Harbor. It was crowded but in a good way. The music was pumping, we were dancing most of the time. The service was great, french fries very pricey at $14 for a small basket, but the drinks were delicious. When you here theres a band playing come down and join the fun. The scenery was beautiful with boats and ships docked. Lots activities to enjoy near by. Trust me youll love it

Poor quality food. Chicken tasted like fish as if it was prepared without cleaning the oven top after cooking fish. Great server. Bad quality food and pricy for what it was. Will not go back. Cooks backstage workers walked in & out were dirty. Dirty silverware & glasses with flies everywhere. No health grade on windows I wonder why!!!!

Bad experience. The service was terrible and there were dirty dishes on the tables. I heard the server apologizing over and over to customers. It took forever to even put in a drink order, and way longer to finally get our drinks. Then the server said they weren’t able to make one of the drinks after all. This was after 40 minutes of waiting. One person in our group ordered an Old Fashion and apparently they didn’t know how to make it properly either so he just cancelled his drink once he saw what they gave him. We asked for our check and the initial bill had the cancelled drinks on it still so we had to flag down the server to get it fixed. More waiting around to get the tab fixed. Very frustrating.

Its a Burd
Four of the five of us spent the first 20 minutes in the bathroom after paying way more money than the food was worth. The servers were all rude and we watched two of them bickering at each other and one of them having a melt down on the cook…it took 30 minutes just to be told they were out of gluten free buns for my wife who is allergic to gluten…no big deal, she opted for the salad…the salad came with a noodle in it? Guess what? she got sick immediately….great way to start our family vacation.

Absolutely delicious macaroni and cheese sandwich. 100% recommend if you’re a mac and cheese fans. They also have decent cocktails which aren’t too expensive. Overall great experience, nice views, delicious food, and not too expensive for what you get. Would recommend.

1st timer. Local. Sunday afternoon at 3:30pm – the harbor is packed. Can take a while to find a parking spot. Grab the first one you see. I gave 4 stars because the servers seemed stressed and other customers were complaining about service. We had GREAT customer service. Be ready to order when they come to you. The sandwiches were Delicious! Try the tomato bisque and Mac n cheese (made with shells) super yummy sides with the sandwich. Ended up taking half sandwich and half soup home for lunch tomorrow. Lots of outside seating. Live band playing not too far away. Full bar for drinks and the menu also has the Copa Cubana menu – I guess the two restaurants are merged together. Great view of the harbor. Seating is first come. If you have a larger group, could be difficult or a long time to be seated. Definitely would come back.

Seriously so bomb I love showing people this place! Still consistent and bomb! You want a great grilled cheese go here! Forever my gem here in Ventura! The bread is all fresh so many varieties, you like tomatoes soup and Mac n cheese?! Ask for the Mac tomatoe soup it’s mixed and the best thing to go with a grilled cheese!!! The lighting inside is always dark and romantic, they have bands that play sometimes in the summer time and always great customer service!!
