First time stopping in always heard the food was good and they were right. The ribs were excellent, super tender fall right off the bone, just used a fork, didn’t get messy. Highly recommend. Staff was super friendly, and trucks get free parking when you get dinner.

My wife and I went there for breakfast. The service was friendly and fast. We both had omelets that the waitress gladly let us customize. I was thrilled when they came out fast, correct, and delicious. We are truck drivers and for having breakfast there it entitled us to remain in their truck parking lot for 24 hours at no charge. That was a very nice perk that we appreciated. We will be stopping there for breakfast when we are in the area and I recommend you do the same.

84 diner is a cool place to park your truck for your break. They do not charge for parking, but you’re required to get a permit by making a purchase, which I find completely fair. The food is good and the restaurant and travel center are clean. Prices are reasonable.

Reallllly good, decently priced food! Boyfriend got the steak Gorgonzola and it was delicious. I got the Italian sausage sub and it was real good too! We had amazing service and the server was a joy. Definitely 5/5 stars. (Pictured is the steak Gorgonzola before it got tore up lol)

Great place to park the truck and have a nice dinner, or breakfast. I spent a few days here and sampled all three meals during my stay. Breakfast and dinner were outstanding. The ribs were fantastic. The selection of deserts did not disappoint. The cherry cheesecake cake, cherry cake with cheesecake in the middle was awesome. The staff were extremely friendly and attentive to their duties. What really amazes me is the fact that this is a truck stop and the grounds and inside were extremely clean. I would definitely recommend the 83 Diner to everyone. To the staff, thank you for making my meals there pleasant.

Drivers, you must pay to park but if you get food at the diner you get a free permit. The food is pretty good and worth the money – rumor has it they have really good ribs. I got the roast beef w/ homemade stuffing and it was really good.

For 8 years I’ve been driving pass here and never stepped foot inside nor parked in their lot and finally decided to and I will never regret doing so. Great atmosphere and the food was great, the ease of parking is and location is also great because if you have to pick up a load from Harrisburg, York or Lancaster it’s smacked right in the middle.. it Is all in one a great spot..
