Cannot give this place enough stars. Our wait to get a table was less than 2 minutes, and we are from out of state and weren’t familiar with the multiple menus, but our server was patient and helped us decide. We love the whole experience of cooking our own food and have one similar in Nashville. Food quality was amazing and seasoned to perfection to where you didn’t need any sauces with anything. Sushi rolls came out at a fairly decent time, and we just loved the mini robot waiter that zoomed around the restaurant! If we lived in Las Vegas, we would be regulars. If we ever come back to Vegas, we’re definitely coming back. 10/10

Had family in town and decided to take them Vegas and Japanese BBQ since I was curious on the food myself. The selection of appetizers, sides and meat was a good selection but didn’t realize you can order only one per person per section. We had a party of 5 and could only order 5 of each selection. Wasn’t a deal breaker but my wife wanted more veggies but since veggies are part of the meat selection we had to choose between the meats and veggies. The meat was marinated in a sweet oyster sauce and after a few plates of meats it got to sweet for me even with the dipping sauce.

What can I say that hasn’t been said about this restaurant and the food? It’s delicious and worth the wait! I would come back again even though the wait was over an hour. The beef was so good and well marinated. This was my first time so I just wanted to get the prime menu but next time I will definitely try the kobe menu even though I was pretty happy and satisfied with the cheaper menu. I also really liked the smores dessert at the end. Perfect way to end the night on a sweet note after all that meat.

Been seeing this popular place pop up and decided to give it a try. Only disappointment was when you reserve through yelp…it doesn’t clarify that it’s not really a reservation. It’s actually a reminder for you to put your name on the waiting list. So I thought I reserve a table for us at 5:30pm. Came to eat during that time and was told that I didn’t have a reservation. Very upsetting so I had to put our name on the waiting list and had to wait 3 hours to come back.

After wrapping up a satisfying KBBQ session at Hwaro, 888 caught our attention. The next day, we decided to see what the fuss was about. Arriving just 10 minutes after they opened, we were met with a 45-60 minute wait, and we learned that some had been waiting an hour before opening time.
